  1. As far as I can see, she has one, of course..... damn shopped pictures. I would say the other photo was not shopped. It is just the way Emma is standing, twisting her waist. Her belly button is behind the corner of the top. Quite a few other photos from the same shoot, same outfit, show her belly button clearly.
  2. Best movie, or movie with best performance by Emma? PoA has been a favorite for some time but there were some powerful scenes in DH. Outside of HP, she was good in Perks but that's not really the type of movie I watch, and wouldn't have if not for Emma. Haven't seen Bling Ring yet, which is another I wouldn't watch if not for Emma.
  3. US English or UK/Europe English? For US, you might change your search terms a bit. 'Mathematics' or 'math' instead of 'maths'. For the teachers book, try 'teacher's edition' or 'teacher's guide'. Unless you want 6th grade specifically you might try 'elementary' (grade 1-6) or 'K12' (kindergarten thru 12th grade). If you need to work on pronunciation, have you thought of videos? http://www.teachertube.com/videos.php?cat=14 has hundreds of videos teaching math. You can search for "6th grade math" to narrow it down some.
  4. ^I would say it's legit. Emma's agency has also tweeted about it, so it's not just a rumour. The choice of director is a bit concerning though. Like Roberto said, she's only directed two films (also listed as writer and producer). Tanner Hall grossed just over $5000, with a $3 million budget. To be fair though, it only opened in 5 (five) theatres. The Truth about Emanuel ( or Emanuel and the Truth About Fishes) has only played at festivals so far, but Tribeca is planning a theatrical release later this year.
  5. Those adjectives do not describe the tone of the article at all. Try patronizing, condescending, dismissive, sarcastic. Reading the interview again, I think he was just bitter about having to spend so much time with his children watching Harry Potter and less time admiring himself.
  6. Excluding well behaved bots, like Googlebot, is quite simple. You just place rules that describe what they are allowed to crawl in a text file named robots.txt. The bot reads the file before it crawls the site. There are bots that ignore the rules, and to stop them would require setting the forum so that no guest browsing is allowed. I do think the benefits outweight the negative aspects. I would guess many of the members found their way here through google, just as I did.
  7. Yes, those are search engine spiders crawling through the forum. I don't particularly like the idea, but then, that is how some people find the forums. In fact, that is how I first found the EWnet forums, through google. Just to be clear, they only see what "guests" are allowed to see, so nothing in the restricted forums, or PM system, or anything else that requires a login.
  8. I would agree Harry would probably use the familiar form of you for Hagrid. They were friends first and teacher later. Lupin maybe not. He was a teacher first and friend later and sometimes the formal relation continues even with a close connection. Like Yulia says, it is probably just the way the translator interpreted it.
  9. Welcome to the forum, Andre. There is already an active topic for this in the media section, http://forum.emma-watson.net/index.php?/topic/59-what-song-are-you-listening-to/ so I think it would be better to continue there and close this one.
  10. It is from behind the scenes footage. I've only seen that part in a Making of video from Tobis Films, the German distributor of Bling Ring. It's dubbed in German, and translators talk over Emma and others, so it's difficult to understand what's being said. A shame. This is the longest behind the scenes stuff out there. You can see it on youtube with that scene about 4:15.
  11. Foxxy/Zain was previously banned for trolling over a year ago. So, I'll close this topic now.

    OK

    I remember you. Welcome back!
  13. I think apprehensive is how I am feeling, but then I felt the same way with the last change and that worked out OK. I soon grew to like Smith's Doctor. I would have liked to see Dr. Smith and Clara teamed longer. To me, they were only just starting to work well together. With Amy Pond the chemistry was there from the start.
  14. Yes, good old days. I miss them too. I didn't start reading until after PoA the movie came out. My friend was the HP fan and I watched the movies with her. When we saw PoA, she cried because she was so upset with all the changes they made for the film. She hated the movie. So, I started reading, from PS, to see what I was missing. That was also about the time I found the EW.net forums. There was a lot of HP discussion back then, and it was a much more friendly environment than the HP specific forums. And Hermione was my favorite character, so yeah, I've been here ever since.
  15. It was not selling well, but that is normal for a first time author in a crowded genre. The people that had read it praised it highly though. The information was reportedly leaked when a member of a legal firm connected to the book told his wife's friend. After betraying a client's trust like that, I would hope that member is no longer part of that legal firm. Yes, after the news broke, the book became a best seller, but I think Rowling only cares about what people thought of the book before people knew it was her, and proud of the fact the reviews were good. After, people are just buying
  16. We don't need posts about creepy songs, especially when you're linking to your own creepy songs. Link deleted, topic closed.
  17. I haven't read it, but from the description, reviews, etc., my guess is zero.
  18. Are you talking style as in clothing, hair, makeup for the shoot? You don't think she is the one that chooses that do you? That's not how it works. Or are you talking her interview style, the way she behaves during the interview? Like cbmac said, Emma is quite animated in many interviews. But not all. It depends on the interview. The more she seems to enjoy an interview, the more expressive she is. She "talks" a lot with her hands. I think she had fun with this interview, you can hear people laughing in the background, so, lots of hand talking. That's not acting.
  19. And you wonder why people think of you as a stalker.
  20. Find the youtube video you want to embed, click the share button to get the youtube url and just paste that into a post. The forum software takes care of the embedding. You can use either of the url forms below. If there are paramaters after the "watch?v=xxxxxxx" part you can delete that. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hkyiBRpi8D4 http://youtu.be/hkyiBRpi8D4
  21. I am so tired of this. Any further snide, sarcastic, mocking, insulting, etcetera remarks about other members will result in suspension or ban from the forums.
  22. Actually I have a lot of respect for Downey. Yes, he had a lot of drug related problems, but he finally released where his life was going and he turned it around. Someone should introduce Lindsay to him.
  23. Sorry, I was responding to cbmac12. Many people have to wait a while yet.
