  1. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 2 is now the top opening weekend film of all time.

It brought in an estimate $168 million over the weekend, which is a comfortable distance from the previous record holder The Dark Knight's $158 million.

    Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!! :ohyeah:

  2. Why Severus and Lilly's patronus are the same? Yes. Because he loved Lily, Snape had the same patronus as her. A doe.

Why the Sword of Gryffindor disappear in Gringots? Because it was Godric Griffindor's and belonged to Hogwarts to help those who ask for help. As Dumbledore explained in CoS and again in the King's Cross section, Help will come to those at Hogwarts who need it /are worthy. In the Chamber in the second movie, the sword presented itself to Harry to fight the Basilisk. In DH2 it presents itself to Neville to help kill Nagini.

Why Harry wasn't dead? Maybe because he is the Master of Death? That indeed hasn't been explained properly. In the movie, Dumbledore tells Harry that Voldemort merely killed the piece of his own soul that resided in Harry. That, plus the Elder Wand wouldn't turn against its true master, which was Harry. In the book it is indeed this reason, and that Harry is the Master of Death.

I hope I could help you and didn't make matters worse with my explanation. LOL

Thank you!!! :) and one more question: what does Hermione put on Ron and Harry's hands when they are out of the lake after jumping of the dragon?

  3. Ok, I have a few questions, nothing with Ron and Hermione, but maybe you can answer them.

    The questions are:

Why Severus and Lilly's patronus are the same?

Why the Sword of Gryffindor disappear in Gringots?

Why Harry wasn't dead? Maybe because he is the Master of Death?

I hope you can help me!!

  4. Well, I saw the movie. I must to confess that I liked the part 1 more.

This film was good, obviously. The battle of Hogwarts was epic!!!! I cried a lot!! :sob:

About the kiss.... I'm not satisfied at all. I think Rupert and Emma did a wonderful job, but Yates... It was so short!!! I was like "that's it?" But I'm glad you liked it.

I can't believe it's all over. No more Harry Potter, Ron and Hermione. At least, we will have the movies and the books to see them over and over again. :)

  5. Kelly!!! WELCOME to our crazy thread!! :) See ya at R/E thread as well-how long ya been a shipper for both? ;)

Yall, Dismiss the angle-the kiss IS SMOKIN HOT, SEXY, PASSIONATE-they are ALLLLL LOVE-you can see their lips meet briefly and that angle happens, but it is the UST that is released thru it (the kiss) and the smacking lips sounds-YEAH BABY :ohyeah::ohyeah: Scale of 1-10 in terms of HOT and PASSIONATE: 12!!!!!!!!!!!! Angle-boo but WHO CARES-that kiss was FULL ON-if yas ask me-they DID use tongue ;) hehe....

The chemistry between R/E did me in once again-the burned my screen-the loudest cheer went to R/Hr but not for the kiss (although SCREAMING AND CHEERING DID HAPPEN ;)) at the end of the battle....who caught what I am talking about? ;)

off to see it again in 20 minutes now ;)

Oh cbmac, I missed you!!!!!!!!!!! You always raise my hopes!!! I've been feeling a bit depressed with all the reviews of THE KISS :(

Fortunately, I will see the movie tomorrow. I hope it looks better at the big screen!!!

  6. http://www.nextmovie.com/blog/ron-and-hermione-better-than-edward-and-bella

poll on whos the more epic couple of a movie series Ron and Hermione or Edward and Bella

I'm going with Ron and Hermione on this one!! They are way better than Edward and Bella

The article was amazing!!!!!!!!! I loved it!!! And yeah, Ron and Hermione are the best couple without a doubt!!! :ohyeah:

I was reading some reviews of THE KISS, and I must confess that I'm a bit sad for what I've read. Why we can't see them kissing? It's been 10 years of waiting!!!!!!!!!! I hate Yates!!

  7. I liked so much this article. My favourite parts:

    4. Harry and Ron ditch their dates to the Yule Ball to be with each other. (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire)

Their preferred dates were otherwise occupied with other Triwizard Cup contenders — which actually suited Harry and Ron just fine. Neither of them wanted to dance, neither of then wanted to fawn over beautiful girls, neither of them wanted to chit-chat. They wanted each other’s company, so they ignored their dates and finally wandered off into the outdoor shrubbery where they could hang out alone, together.

    1. Harry rescues Ron from the evil clutches of the merepeople (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire)

What is the thing Harry would miss most in the whole entire world if it was gone? Ron Weasley. That’s really all you need to know.

    I love their friendship!!!!!!!!!!! :3m_sie:

  8. I got to see an early screening (am still going to midnite screening as well) and it is the best movie of the series - bring tissues.

Yes, the kiss is full-on.... :ohyeah: ....you know how with the Harry and Cho and Harry and Ginny kisses they're not that close and you can see what's going on? Well, its like Rupert and Emma are suctioned together, especially at the mouth - like he's swallowing her up.

And the r/eal moment afterwards - :yesyes:

    :0_0::lostit::whaa::ohyeah:

So Dan was right, they enjoyed it a little bit too much!!

  9. Hi everyone. I've been lurking for a long time but finally decided to join because I just saw the kiss!!!! Just got back from the midnight premiere and don't worry you wont be dissapointed. :D:ohyeah:

Really??? :0_0: Tell me everything about it!!!!!!!!!!!!

  10. ." Emma Watson shines with a freshly newly acquired spontaneity: the moment where she kisses Ron is followed by a smile which feels so real that could almost be mistaken for an outtake. And obviously Rupert Grint who’s always been the best of them all and can now relax in his role of ice-breaker with his funny comments in the most tense situations."

    :ohyeah:

Daniel said that too!!! He said that he saw Rupert and Emma (not Ron and Hermione) at the end of the kiss.

    THE KISS was R/Eal :yesyes:
