  1. ^^i agree, they should include the same special features for dvd as they do blu ray, but you don't have to be rich to afford a blu-ray player nowadays... $80-$100 at a walmart or something.

i found out a cool fact with the charity burbadge scene watching in maximum movie mode though...

highlight the below to see, if you want:

the visual effect department made a life-size animatronic of Charity Burbage! that's what the viewers see in the background, and of course up close, it's a real actress

  2. well, i bought the blu-ray combo pack.

don't know why WB includes a regular DVD along with the blu ray disc and digital download?? it is a wasted disc in my opinion

anyway, almost all of the deleted scenes were leaked online prior the discs were on sale, or warner bros released most of the special features themselves, so that disc too was useless to me.

i really enjoyed the watching the film in maximum movie mode though...learned some new stuff.

they could have gone all out for the last time, but WB didn't.

LOVED watching the movie in HD...yates and company did a beautiful job.

  3. ^^^ wow, i JUST noticed the harry and hermione relationship thing... i read it too fast on Leaky and i could have sworn my eyes saw ron and hermione.

i wonder what yates will say? like you said , it is supposed to be ron and hermione's movie...

  4. I'm just impressed she was able to get a full year of college in. I admire her for that.

Emma's stock is WAY up right now. Career wise, always strike while the irons are hot... In her case smokin' hot. She's a smart chick, and got a crap load of money already, leaving school for a bit is not going to hurt her in anyway.

  5. It seems as if the paparazzi have been following Emma around more often recently. They should only take pictures at public events, not stalk celebrities and invade their private space. .

if it's not the paps, it is people on twitter and facebook... the girl can't even go to a store without folks tweeting her every move. some celebs say they want to be treated fairly, and do normal stuff, but how can they, the public really won't let them.

  6. I would have to agree with you on that one. To be honest, I don't think Emma really cares about the Harry Potter series anymore. Sure, she probably hasn't fully "forgotten" about it; she never will, for she isn't the type of person to forget her roots. However I doubt she still has the same stance about the end of it all like after she was done filming it.

    I don't understand...

emma has done everything HP has asked her to do...what more do you want her to do?

the actors have done their jobs and moved on...only the fans are dwelling on the doom and gloom of the series ending.

personally, i don't need to see, nor hear emma, dan and rupert going on and on about how depressed they are...(please no in July)...they are filthy rich, and have bright futures....and me, well, I'm the over-taxed working class slug with my cherished HP DVDs ... :D

  7. NYU has the best film related program among US unis as I know so it's possible that Emma is thinking transfering there since it will be beneficial for her movie career.

emwatsonsuperfan, are you a student of NYU?

Beneficial to her movie career? Emma has over a decade of professional experience, the kids at the film school do not. She could teach those students, and teachers for that matter, a thing or two.

(I haven't read the whole thread yet, so I might be repeating stuff here)

I think living in NYC, makes it easier for the juggle work and her studies, especially if she's in an open curriculum program. Good for Emma...obviously, school is still important to her, but she is so HOT right now, it is wise not to pass up opportunities.

If I had her money, I would commute to campus everyday, the hell with living in student housing, get a nice condo, and maintain some privacy to boot.

  8. I agree, this part she definitely played very well.

I also liked the part where Ron reaches and brushes her hair away.

when did Ron brush Hermione's hair away?

Hr brushes H's hair just before she says,"dont ever let me give you a haircut again."

maybe you are thinking of the cafe scene when Ron touches hr cheek?

  9. For me, i've seen the movies sooo much that when I re-read the books, it's hard not to just picture Daniel, Emma and Rupert. I think I've watched the movies so many times, I can't really see anyone else playing the characters, whether or not they are as in depth as their characters in the book.

I picture Dan, Rupert and Emma too. I found it interesting that Heyman said in one of the press junket interviews that if Emma had left they would have had to recast Hermoine. THAT would have been too weird to get used to.
