  1. I really don't understand many things here. One, I don't understand how a clearly mentally ill person was allowed access to guns? That's the main problem here. His mother allowed him access to weapons. Another thing is, I understand he was upset at possibly being institutionalized. That explains why he shot the mother. But why go after the kids? That's what's so horrifying and heartbreaking. It's horrifying enough that he killed his mother, but the 20 children... And another thing...again, someone should have seen the signs. I repeat this after every school shooting, with a mentally ill
  2. I love her music. I am seeing her live in 4 days, which is exciting for me!
  3. I was hearing about it in high school, but I didn't read the books until I was 19 or 20, and that was after watching the first movie.
  4. Yes, this would be an excellent move. I hope it happens!
  5. I enjoyed the book, even though I will be turning 30 in a month! I wish it had been around when I was in high school.

    Lady Gaga

I have seen so many live acts this year, that, no, I am not. I am broke...can't even afford the music releases I want to hear. But I love Lady Gaga. Her music is completely amazing. Ranking the studio albums: 1. The Fame 2. Born This Way 3. The Fame Monster
  8. Robert Fripp - The Zero Of The Signified
  9. I buy MP3s and vinyl. CDs, not so much anymore. But I am an audiophile, and have both my record player and my computer hooked up to my surround sound system.
  10. To discuss this, It depends on what goes into the dye that made the dog pink. I am an animal rights advocate, and I would definitely dye my dog blue, if it didn't hurt her. That being stated, it was for breast cancer research, which means that it probably wasn't harmful to the dog. I don't see them abusing an animal to help a human being.
  11. What kind of book is it? I personally don't know, as I tend to read mostly sci-fi, horror, and mystery novels. So I haven't a clue.
  12. I hope it gets released to a theater where I live!
  13. She looks good, but it's kind of frustrating that they will just not leave her alone.
  14. Good god almighty! Emma, you sexy girl, you! (I also can't wait to see this film.)
  15. I love everything to do with this movie.
  16. Nice to see a fellow computer programmer on here. I am majoring in it right now. I personally think Emma is great for the role. It's very 'anti Hermoine.' Spoiled rich girl gets into trouble, gets arrested, and causes mayhem. Very disconnected from the character of Hermoine, who isn't spoiled at all and very rarely gets into trouble (and always plays by the rules.) She needs this role, I think, if she ever wants to strip herself from the world of Harry Potter. I don't want Emma's career to go downhill, because people can't separate her from her previous character. That has happened to so m
