The opening of 'The Conjuring' deals with a "demonic entity" in a doll that tricks it's way into the lives of two female students by pretending to be the "spirit of a deceased little girl". The warrens and their "occult museum is the room where they keep all the trinkets from all their previous cases and that how/why Annabelle doll ties into the story. (I use these " " because I don't believe in such things though!) I've seen the movie too and it was OK.

Just heard this now. I don't really read crime novels and TCV wasn't my type of book either. But JKR is indeed a great author and when I get bored and want something to read I will read this one.
