That is actually a good point. I can imagine it was for a lot of kids who got into later films who first were just fans.

As I shipped Harry/Hermione I do not really feel any real enjoyment for this. As said, the books are already written, Rowling admitting she might be mistaken does not change how the books were written and won't change my opinion about them. The canon couples were only a small part why I cared less about 6 and 7 having Harry/Hermione in it would not have made them that much better.

Although I didn't like the last two books I think Rowling absolutely succeeded in creating a fascinating universe which sadly, because of the narrative of the Harry Potter books, wasn't explored enough in my opinion. So, in that way I'm excited about a film coming out which is set in this universe but without the ties to Harry Potter. Definitely got my interest. I only liked half of the books she wrote(HP 1, 3, 4, 5,) don't think I'll be reading this anytime soon. From what I heard The Casual Vacancy is also not that interesting. I think it's good though she published a book with a pseudonym so it could be judged on it's own merits.

So, as I'm quite a big fan of this franchise I look forward to the next gen "sequel" called inFAMOUS: Second Son. Starring a new hero with fire type powers instead of electrical ones.
