  1. I broke out the old PS2 and my games and I started playing these ones again. I realize how much fun I have with them. I'm not a  fan of Final Fantasy or anything like that, but these games are different. On paper it seems like a really weird idea, but once you play it for yourself it's like a wild nostalgic kick in the teeth.

What games have you played? What are your favourite worlds from the series? What worlds do you want to see in KH3? What worlds do you NOT want to see in KH3?

I've played KH1, KH2, Chain of Memories/RE: Chain of Memories, and part of 358/2 Days. I keep forgetting to buy Dream Drop Distance. The first game is definitely my favourite overall.

I'd like to see Atlantica, Wonderland, the Hundred Acre Wood, the Pride Lands, and Beast's Castle again in KH3.

New worlds I'd like to see would be Sleeping Beauty, Lilo and Stitch, Tangled, Sword in the Stone, Emperor's New Groove, Treasure Planet, and something from the Marvel universe (since Disney owns them now). I'd also be interested in seeing some stuff from the Pixar films.

No more Pirates of the Caribbean or Tron... for some reason I just can't stand playing those worlds at all.

  2. First cousins only? I have seven. I have five on my dad's side and two on my mom's side. My eldest cousin is 30 and my youngest cousin is 12. I've met them all, but I don't like them all.

When it comes to second cousins I lose count (a rough guess would be twenty-five-ish). I don't consider myself related to third cousins and beyond.

EDIT: There are some cousins that my family just doesn't talk to (bad blood), so I've never met them and I know little about them.

  3. I liked it when I was younger. I played a lot of Madden. Nowadays... meh. I currently follow baseball, Premier League soccer/football and hockey. American football just kind of fell away. I watch CFL (Canadian Football) sometimes. I follow the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. You can look up the difference between NFL and CFL yourself.

I'm trying to get back into it. I'm watching the Patriots game right now. I'd say I'm a very casual fan since I haven't followed it in years and I don't know any of the players anymore lol. It doesn't help that I don't have anyone to watch it with.

  4. FIFA 11. I suck at this game (probably because I play it like an NHL game). Much like Madden NFL got me into American football, I credit FIFA for getting me into soccer/football. I understand the game very well now and I actually follow a couple of teams from the Premier League.

  5. I've been a big fan since I was small. I own most of the games (I think I'm only missing Oracle of Ages and Four Swords Adventures). My favourite is a probably Wind Waker (I'm excited for the HD version). I wasn't too keen on Twilight Princess. *gasps* what? I know. I've replayed it in hopes that I would like it, but to no avail. I just don't like the story, the overworld is empty, I didn't like a lot of the characters and I felt like it was a "fan service" game (meaning, they gave into fan demand for a more "realistic" graphic design and they did everything on TP that they couldn't do in OOT). We could have had Wind Waker 2 but we got Twilight Princess instead. You could argue that Phantom Hourglass is Wind Waker 2, but it's not the same as having a console sequel.

Wind Waker is a winner for me because it dared to try something different, yet it still felt like a Zelda game. Going forward, I think that's what Nintendo needs to be doing instead of producing Ocarina clones. I'm very excited for Zelda Wii U. I know people that don't even like Zelda games that are excited for it.

I replay Ocarina of Time every year (I have it on N64, Gamecube and 3DS, so I just pick my poison and go with it).

  6. Sorry about bumping an older thread.

I picked up AC3 for my Wii U a couple weeks ago for $15 (it was a good price. I needed a new game for my Wii U. It was a done deal). I've been playing AC3 a lot for the past few days and I'm now divided on whether I like it or not. I haven't finished the game yet, but I'm about 3/4 through as of today.

The beginning is pretty slow. The story thus so far (for me anyway) has been okay. I'm not a big fan of "the new world" when it comes to history, so it wouldn't be surprising if I wasn't incredibly interested. Conner can sometimes be so naive that it almost angers me. What I'm finding as I roll through the story mode, is that I kind of side with the Templars on some things. Is that odd?

Gameplay is pretty solid and addictive. I LOVE hunting. I could spend hours doing it. I didn't have to work today, so I just sat in my rec-room hunting various animals. I like hanging around John's Town and just picking off as many bears as I can. Then I felt disgusted with myself after I saw how much time had gone by.

What kills the gameplay for me (and you can disagree), is guns. I don't like the addition of guns to the AC games, that's just my personal preference.

As far as the Desmond story/gameplay goes, I kind of liked it this time. I feel like I'm not alone when I say the struggles outside of the Animus have never been nearly as interesting as the ones within the Animus. For the series as a whole, sometimes I get kind of confused because there are moments when it feels like there are three plots rolling at once. There are times I feel like Ubisoft should have just done a historical epic series or something instead.

What are your opinions of AC4? I like pirates, so it has my attention. I'm not totally convinced of it though. I usually don't buy games full price, and I don't like AC enough to spend $60 on it. So maybe a year later I'll buy it. Also, what historical period would you guys want to see in a future AC game? I'm dying for Elizabethan England, Ancient Greece or Feudal Japan. Though they may never happen, you can always dream.

  7. I'd want to live Hawaii, California, British Columbia or Scotland.

Or better yet, I'd like to have my own private paradise island where no one could disturb me. That would be a dream! I like to keep the things around me quiet as I enjoy my privacy and I like being left alone. So living on a private island or an island that is not too populated would be great.

  8. After some thought, I'd say Emma is just straight up classy. She's a great role model. I mean, she has so much money in the bank that doesn't ever have to work another day in her life, but she chooses to keep at it anyway. She also went out of her way to get an education.

9/10 child stars don't do that last bit, and I think that's why a lot of them have gone off the rails.

  9. Pulling a bee stinger out of my thumb. I haven't been stung in ten years... I'd forgotten how it feels  -_-
I haven't cursed this much in a looooooong time, and instead of helping me, my older sister recorded my spaz out.

If anyone has any home remedies that would ease the swelling and throbbing, please share. My whole thumb is red. I have a cold compress (no ice) on it right now.

  10. The only Sims game I ever really played was first one. We had almost all of the expansion packs for it. I remember how I would take great joy in clicking into my older sister's families and then I would burn down the house and then leave. My sister would come back the next day and freak! LOL
Good times. Good times. And we'd use money cheats all the time. It takes the fun out of everything, really.

I have the Sims 2 on PS2... it's not that great. That's why I said the only Sims game I really played was the first one.

I've thought about getting the Sims 3 or maybe 4 when it comes out, but I'm not too interested in them anymore.

  11. I figured this would be a good place to ask such a question. What kind of films/roles would you like to see Emma take on in the future? I was going to put a poll here, but there's just too many options. So instead, tell me what you'd like to see and explain why. Don't just say "I'd like to see her in a Sword-and-Sandal flick" and leave it at that. Try to explain why if you can.

I'd like to see her have a main role in a comedy. Not a romance comedy, just a straight comedy. Maybe like a "Bridesmaids" sort of thing. "This is the End" is alright, but I'd like to see her in the main group. I want to see her do some comedy, I just feel like that it's slightly out of left field for her, and that's what I want to see.

  12. I'm seriously considering getting my hair cut off. Same reason as Emma too. I'm in a new stage of my life and I want to do something different and I want a bit of a change.

I have straight, thick, brown hair. And though it's soft and fluffy and people like running their fingers through it, it's really high maintenance and sometimes I just don't have the patience for it. I've talked to my friends about getting it cut for quite a long time and they either say "YEAH! Do it!" or "No don't! You're hair is too majestic!"

I have my high school commencement ceremony in November, and I promised my friends that I would keep my fluffy locks for that and do loose curls with it, because that's the way they like it. After that, I'll look into what I can do. I don't know if I can pull it off, but we'll see what my hairdresser says. My biggest fear is looking like a guy!

My hair grows fairly quickly, so if I like my older look, it's not like I'll have to wait a long time for it to come back.
