  1. Duuuuude, they don't care about the green party, trust me . SF is all about the democrats . It's an interesting sight to say the least o.o. Sounds like the Romney campaign won't concede Ohio.
  2. Y'know, it's an old hippie couple setting off fireworks O_O, this is a really weird sight.
  3. NBC, change you can believe in -_o. People are going crazy here. Some fireworks have gone off and a few people are screaming Obama's name in the streets o.o.
  4. HOW DARE YOU CNN!!!! Arie, as an Ohio voter I think you should vote for NBC for your up-to-date voting information. NBC offers updated information fast and easy -_o. Vote NBC O_O!
  5. Obama just took Iowa. If he takes Nevada which he probably will and then takes Colorado, he doesn't need Florida, Ohio, or Virginia o.o. Edit: Aww man I posted it third T_T. OHIO JUST WENT TO OBAMA !!!!!! HE'S WON!!!!
  6. Aggggh I really want to know who will take Florida, I hate waiting O_O!
  7. Obama's pulling closer in Virginia. Polls are about to close in California, time for me to fret over the propositions @_@.
  8. Where you getting your info from, I've got 65% for Colorado. Iowa's too early.
  9. Iowa's looking favorable for Obama right now, Colorado's a toss up right now too.
  10. If Romney loses any one of Virginia, Ohio, or Florida it's over, and I'd say there's a good chance that one of those (probably Ohio or Florida) will go Obama. Looks like the democrats are going to hold control of the senate.
  11. I was screaming "Arie random people are knocking on doors out here asking who people are voting for save me ahhhhhhhhhhhhh," and you just let me rot out there . I know right. Romney has to take Ohio now though if he wants a chance of winning at all.
  12. ^ Fine I'll stop bothering you at your house, geez a guy can't be friendly these days apparently. Florida is super close, this is becoming a hell of a race. Close all around splaaaah .
  13. It's sounding more and more like Iowa and New Hampshire are going to go Obama. I suppose if I had to predict in terms of swing states at this point I'd say Iowa, New Hampshire, Colorado, and Ohio are going Obama, and that Florida and North Carolina are going Romney, with Virgina a complete toss up (To be honest I kind of think that will be the closest race). Anyone else want to offer up predictions? I'm sure some of you from battleground states can offer a better viewpoint.
  14. No, you have to be an American citizen to vote and furthermore different states have different eligibility requirements (generally related, but not limited, to residency). Honestly I don't think Emma cares too much one way or the other, she's never been very out spoken on politics.
  15. I would counter argue that those who vote early would be as misinformed as those who vote on the day of the election. There was a statistic awhile back that only about 25% of Americans were actually informed about issues and candidates while a whooping 50% weren't informed at all and about 25% were moderately informed. It's kind of sad given how long our elections are that there's a large amount of people who don't know what they are voting for. That stat is across all party lines too. It could be worse though, at least people aren't cooping anymore. Of course we always have to worry about o
  16. I think you could argue that Obama's image and handling of Sandy might give him the smallest of boosts, but keep in mind that early voting in states where Sandy hit was suspended at least a day or two and will be possibly longer in areas that received a lot of damage. Early voting tends to favor the democrats more than the republicans, and Obama has been pushing hard for people to get out and vote early. It's really unpredictable at this point. No matter what the polls say right now, something could throw it all off in the end anyways. I suppose the nice part is we won't have to stress or sp
  17. Who knows, in terms of neck and neck races one could argue that Ohio, Florida, Virgina, New Hampshire, Colorado, and Iowa, and to a lesser extent now North Carolina are all toss ups. Of those, Obama only really needs about 18 electoral votes to get elected. He could take Florida alone and take everything, although I feel that's going Romney right now myself. It's anyones game really. I suppose you could make the argument that the set up favors Obama more than it does Romney, since he would need fewer states. As for Hurricane Sandy, I hope Romney doesn't get elected since he wanted to cut fun
  18. Honestly, that's just the media's interpretation/hype. Technically speaking Obama could lose Florida and Ohio as long as he takes New Hampshire, Iowa, and Colorado, the first two of which it looks like he's got a decent lead in, he can still win. If Romney doesn't get Florida and/or Ohio it's pretty much over for him.
  19. ^ Well we all gotta go sometime. Best be prepared for when we do =D.
  20. Eccleston was a decent doctor but he definitely wasn't a David Tennant. I think Tennant really eclipsed Eccleston in the end. I'd have to say I actually quite enjoy a lot of the older doctors before the reboot. I've only watched up to about series 16 of the old series which is about the middle of the Tom Baker era but they have a uniqueness all of their own. Of course it's hard to compare the old series to the new series because the serial format vs the single episode format is very different. There's also a certain subdivision when it comes to the Hartnell independent science fiction serials
  21. Definitely a sad good-bye T_T. I've been impressed this season so far, the writing and overall production feel like it's back on par with where it was during the 5th season and before. I was disappointed with quite a few of the episodes in season 6, so I'm a bit relieved. I can't wait to see what they do for the 50th anniversary!!!

    Pottermore?

Overall I think it serves its purpose as a supplement to the books and movies well enough. It serves more as a place where you can go and interact with the Potter universe and pick up some interesting facts on the way. Things like brewing and wizard duels are enjoyable for a little while and nice to participate in every so often, but they do tend to get old fast. That's really Pottermore in a nutshell, it's enjoyable for a little while at first, and it's fun to interact after you've read the books or watched the movies or just want to interact with the potter universe, but it gets old. It woul
