  1. Impressive! Welcome to the boards
  2. I think it's less freaky than people having posters of her all over their bedrooms...
  3. If I can be honest, with respect to Taylor Momsen, good riddance... I despise this girl.
  4. I dig the boho look I'd be rather curious as to what were the DVDs Emma picked...
  5. Is it? I had no idea about that...
  6. Has anybody bought anything from this collection? Just curious...
  7. There should be a book review about "Perks" in our next WW issue...
  8. Atonement blew me away, I'd highly recommend it too. I recently read "Norwegian Wood" by Murakami, a friend had given it to me, and I was surprised how much I liked it. It made me laugh out loud several times. I'd recommend anything by Kazuo Ishiguro: "The Remains of the Day", "Never Let Me Go", "When We Were Orphans".
  9. "When we were orphans" by Kazuo Ishiguro - so good!
  10. I wonder whether this movie will be released in France... I was not too impressed with the trailer, to be honest, and MK was never my favourite twin, but I'd still like to watch it, if I can.
  11. Rubbish. Emma herself mentioned this as a joke during an interview with Marie-Claire or Vogue (can't remember which). She's said herself that she loves being at Brown pretty much more than anything else. The tabloids are just trying to find dirt, as usual. I guess the truth doesn't sell, whereas the idea of a taunted celeb does...
  12. Did you like it? I love it, the song is stuck in my head and I think the clips really captured what is so lovable and endearing about Emma. NobleManiac, I'll watch yours as soon as possible and send you comments - anybody making music videos deserves feedback!!!
  13. Oops, just realised I missed the deadline (Ignore my previous post in the staff thread)
  14. Never Let Me Go made me shed a tear... or two...
  15. Same here. I'm now really into the Burberry check, and my perception of the brand has definitely changed, to the point where I really want to buy something by them one day. Amen to that. I remember reading an article about how counterfeiting is linked to such niceties as arm trade or child labour. Definitely puts you off.
  16. I think Julia Stiles did something similar when she was studying at Columbia. Lots of students seem to take a temporary leave from uni, for different reasons, of course. I'm just crossing my fingers that Emma will get to get the best of both worlds, like she's always seemed to want to, and that film-making and modelling won't take over her life as a History student.
  17. You're not the odd ball, I'm totally with you on preferring Ashley! I've read similar things as well, I think she's rather happy to be working on her clothing lines and to be expressing her creativity far away from the public eye. Which is a shame really, since I'd love to see another movie of hers. But hey, she and her sister worked hard enough as kids and teenagers to be able to finally choose for themselves what type of career they want.
  18. It's probably for the best. Nobody would be buying flowy white blouses and dresses when having to deal with the freezing cold and a bunch of fresh snow on a daily basis.
