  1. Well, I think the title says it all! I fell in love with most of Emma's spring-summer line but sadly I couldn't really pull off anything from it at work... So I bought the light grey college bag that says "Please don't panic I'm organic" and I love it! I use it all the time as a gym bag, all my stuff fits in it and it's really good quality. What about you?
  2. I remember the days where Emma started wearing designer clothes... I think it was between PoA and GoF. Back then, she was all about Alberta Ferretti (BAFTA, GoF press conference, GOF NY premiere). It's nice to know that she's going back to her haute couture roots More seriously, I'm really looking forward to this line. I just don't know whether it's supposed to be affordable to the masses...
  3. Yes, the first season was definitely the best. Probably because it was still relatable on some level. Now it's just full-on jet set lives and silly plots and so-called "conspiracies". I still like it though. I'm oddly fascinated by the character of Serena, who is probably the girl on TV with the least willpower when it comes to men. She has major Daddy issues. I used to like Dan and Vanessa, who were normal characters, but I hated the fact that the writers made them have a threesome (!) with Hilary Duff (!) during season 3. You could tell they just wanted to shock the audience and get good rat
  4. Anybody here who likes Gossip Girl? It's the TV show I hate to love. Literally. I'm addicted to it, even though most lines make me cringe and I spend a good deal of my time rolling my eyes when I watch it. I can't explain it. It's my guilty pleasure.
  5. I'd suggest "War & Peace" and "Crime and Punishment" - two major pieces of Russian literature, both very demanding but unforgettable. I sweated blood over reading them, they're really not a walk in the park, but they're worth every minute of your time. If you're aiming for something a bit lighter, then maybe anything by Hemingway.
  6. I finished "Angela's Ashes" today, I'm starting "Atonement" tomorrow.
  7. I read this book after Emma mentioned it in an interview and I said I'd write a review for Watson Weekly. Once I started, I was hooked and I couldn't stop. I recently watched the movie and found it as good as the book. Gregory Peck was very charismatic, in a quiet but determined way. I was also very touched by the little girl who played Scout. That scene where the men of the town show up at night in front of the prison in order to lynch the accused, and she talks to them, in her innocent voice, not understanding what's going on, and undermining the collective, almost sheep-like, intent to kill
  8. I recently cried while watching a movie called "Mother and Child". It's not an amazing movie, but there's this heartwrenching scene with Kerry Washington (I won't spoil it)... I couldn't hold back the tears. It's impossible to watch that scene and not feel empathy for what the character is going through.
  9. I agree with you, that going for supporting roles is a good strategy. First of all, it won't interfere too much with her studies and it will also give her the opportunity to be rather versatile in her choices, to work with different directors and co-actors/actresses... I think it's really cool that Emma's taking on smaller, more "indie" projects, and that she's not playing it safe by starring in an umpteeth romcom. I seriously cannot wait for this movie. Emma Watson + Michelle Williams = this cannot go wrong.
  10. Catchy song, and I love the story behind the video I remember, a few years ago, we did a birthday or Xmas project for Emma, in the form of a WW issue, and in it we had an article about other projects we could see Emma doing in the future or parts she could have played. One idea we had was that we could see her being part of a music video! Funny...
  11. I've loved Michelle Williams since she was on Dawson's Creek. I've followed her career, seen all of her movies (even the most indie, low-budget ones) and I genuinely think she's one of the best actresses of her generation. I cannot wait to see both Emma and Michelle Williams in the same movie. A movie about Marilyn, nonetheless!
