  1. Italian, I know a few phrases from my trips there, enough to get by but I would love to know more.
  2. I drink both but I probably like coffee (black) more. I always wake up with a cup of coffee (white) but i'll drink either anytime of day or night.
  3. I'm quite jealous, when he moved back home we had part of the garage converted into a room, it's the only reason he has it, we would never be allowed this in the house.
  4. It was a great movie and definitely deserves all the accolades it is recieving at the moment. It is a great story along with some fine acting.
  5. Leyton Orient have held Arsenal to a draw too but Arsenal will surely win the replay at the Emirates. Doesn't surprise me, just because the poor big clubs are getting knocked out, the FA don't want a Stoke v Bolton FA Cup Final.
  6. It was Sony's decision, there was going to be a Spider-Man 4 (and 5) with Toby Maguire but director Sam Raimi left the project following 'creative' problems with Sony who then decided to reboot the franchise with new director Marc Webb. The movie will focus on Peter Parker in his high school days. I'll watch it but I do think it is too soon, I don't really know much about Andrew Garfield, ive only seen him in The Social Network so I don't really know if he will be a good Spider-Man or not. Looking forward to seeing Rhys Ifans as The Lizard.
  7. It was the FA Cup again this weekend and Stoke beat Brighton 3-0, I was expecting a tougher game but it was a very comfortable win for us. Here is the draw for the quarter finals... Stoke v West Ham or Burnley Man City or Aston Villa v Everton or Reading Birmingham v Fulham or Bolton Man United v Leyton Orient or Arsenal The draw has been very kind for us again, we have been handed another home tie against West Ham or Burnley and I am quite confident that we can progress to the semi finals for the first time in my lifetime.
  8. I think they were going to split the series anyway, to quote Steven Moffat "to give viewers one of the most exciting Doctor Who cliffhangers and plot twists ever" But yes he will work on Sherlock in between, which I must add is another excellent series, but that's for another topic.
  9. Whatever happened, whenever I read about this case I can never look past the fact that the McCann's left their young children on their own while they were out enjoying a meal. They had a responsibility and have to take some of the blame. I hope that they find her or at least find out what happened, but it has been four years now and I fear that this is something we will never know the truth about.
  10. I have just seen an interview with Russell T Davies and reading into that I don't think Torchwood will have a base anymore, I think that Torchwood will be about the team rather than the institute itself. Torchwood 3 in Cardiff was the only branch which remained operational, they were there because of the rift over Cardiff but that was closed by the Doctor along with the other cracks in time. Apparently in the first episode Captain Jack Harkness returns to Wales, and along with Gwen, Rhys and PC Andy is arrested by the CIA and taken to America, which from what I have read is where I think mos
  11. I love superhero movies, I say keep them coming, although I have mixed feelings about the Spider-Man reboot, I just don't understand why they are doing it so soon after the last ones which I thought were great.
  12. Yes, there will always be a special place for the old team, but I am looking forward to the new characters and how Torchwood is brought back to life... the last time we saw them, the hub was destroyed, Ianto killed and Jack left Earth leaving Gwen as the sole member of Torchwood. I want to know what happens to the hub in Cardiff, wether they rebuild it or whether the series is going to be more like Children of Earth, with the story unfolding in various locations.
  13. Here is a press release for the new series... http://news.thedoctorwhosite.co.uk/torchwood-miracle-day-press-release/
  14. Are there any fans of this brilliant Doctor Who spin off? While I love Doctor Who, as well as the first two series of Torchwood, I think that Torchwood: Children of Earth has been finest peice of television over the past few years. I loved how it was shown over five days although I am looking forward to it being a full series again when the forth series Torchwood: Miracle Day starts in July with Captain Jack Harkness and Gwen Cooper returning. I'm not sure what to make of it becoming a joint venture by the BBC and Starz, with filming taking place both in Wales and America, but we wil
  15. I think it's a brilliant show that I never get tired of watching, Sheldon is a legend.
  16. This looks brilliant and is opening in London this Sunday... http://www.doctorwhoexperience.com/ I have trips to London planned for both April and May, I am definitely going to try and fit this in. Would love to see it, i'll have to take a photo of my brothers bedroom door, he's painted the Tardis doors on the outside, it's pretty good.
  17. Today is Tatjana's (..::blueangel0::.) Birthday.... HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I hope you have a wonderful day!
  18. I am still yet to see The Pacific, had the box set for Christmas, i'll start watching it soon. Band of Brothers is a very hard act to follow and has set the standard as far as war films/tv shows go, for me only Saving Private Ryan comes close.
  19. It is ridiculous.. I have thought over the past few months about the possibilty of trying to get a ticket for the Champions League final, it's one of the biggest games in the football calander and as it's at Wembley it was the perfect opportunity, let's face it... barring some miracle, Stoke will never get there. It's a massive game and I was (reluctantly) prepared to pay £50-£70 but I simply can't afford or justify paying those prices, it's pricing the average fan like myself out of the game. The most I have paid for a ticket following Stoke is £42 for Old Trafford, the average Premi
  20. According to ESPN, the prices have doubled since the final in Rome two years ago, I can't seem to find last years prices.
  21. I've just recieved an email from The FA informing me that tickets have gone on sale to the public for the Champions League Final at Wembley, interested I followed the link and almost choked..... http://www.thefa.com/TheFA/Wembley/NewsandFeatures/2011/CL-ticket-launch £150-£300!!!!!!! (+ £26 admin fee) That's almost as much as my whole season ticket (19 games) for Stoke! I'll be watching on TV thank you very much.
  22. You should give the cake along with this as a card.... Say the cake was inspired by the Vincent Van Gogh painting "The Pandorica Opens"
  23. Arsenal play nice football, and can be great to watch. Tonight I was pleased to see Wilshere do so well against top players, because he is going to be a top player for England, but that is where any love stops with Arsenal. I used to respect Arsene Wenger a lot, I can't be doing with the bloke now. He sends his teams out to cheat and they can be very crafty about the way they do it, he is always the first to moan and compain whenever there is a bad challenge, or an opposition player dares to breathe on one of his players forgetting that his own team are one of the biggest culprits when it co

  25. Barcelona lost I was enjoying this weeks Champions League until the last 10 mins or so tonight. I really can't be doing with Arsenal, a repeat of last seasons performance at the Nou Camp is in order to wipe the smug grin off Arsene Whingers face.
