  2. I've been taught to appreciate the flavors of different types of alcohol, such as wine, rum and vodka. Right now I like rum more than the others. My father taught me to sense the "wooden" flavors of the rum, also the fruity flavors of the different types of wine, etc. I'm saying all this because drinking alcohol is an experience: the taste, the density and other stuffs wich I can't remember the name in English thehe. People who drink just to have fun it kinda annoys me, because they're mainly drinking to get drunk, and so, missing out on a very good thing wich is the full taste of the drink. Now, of course I've gotten really drunk, even passed out once, that was not very pleasant, but since then I've learned what my boundaries are. I think it's good to someone to get drunk, at leats once (f that person were about to do it, I suggest hiding the car/house keys thehee) because that way you experience how bad it is the morning-after headache, the mamory loss, etc. In order for that to happen you miust get really drunk thehehe.

Thats the right way to handle alcohol. I prefer old scotch whiskey like 'Lagavulin'. Expensive, I know, but one bottle last 3 month at my home. I like to drink beer too and sometimes I'm drunk but never 'over the line'

  3. Many people here know how much I hate Apple as a company. I didn't like Steve Jobs as much either.

But he was an outstanding entrepreneur, innovator and businessman. I may not have liked him, but I damn well respected the man. He has made his legacy not only in Apple but in the technological word and the real world as well. His innovation has led us to where we are today.

Rest in Peace Steve Jobs, you will be missed.

This is exactly the same way I think about Apple. But as you said you have to respect Steve Jobs for what he created. He changed the way people communicate with each other.

  5. Yeah...essentially those "Windsors" are just the brit branch of House Saxe-Coburg-Gotha....:king:

    Probably. :P

Until WW1 they were still called House of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha, but because of WW1 they named them self Windsor.

Good to see I'm not the only one who is interested in history. BTW I've visited Gotha 2 years ago and the people there are still very interested in what's happening with the royal's (Ok it was the tourist guide guy(?) who told me that)

Sorry for the double post but I had to work when the wedding was hold and now i saw the reports and I only have one thing to add: Prince Harry is cool!

  6. Exactly, it's just a marrige. Thats why I don't see why people care at all. What I find annoying is that at least 5 german tv stations broadcasted it live + public viewing. Isn't one enough? They wouldn't do that for my marrige (not that I plan to marry). :P

Personally I don't have anything against the Royal family. But I couldn't care less. Nevertheless I watched the kiss(es) live on tv. :P

That's maybe because there is some german blood involved :P and since we chase away our Kaiser some weird people miss something :P

  7. It is ridiculous..

I have thought over the past few months about the possibilty of trying to get a ticket for the Champions League final, it's one of the biggest games in the football calander and as it's at Wembley it was the perfect opportunity, let's face it... barring some miracle, Stoke will never get there.

It's a massive game and I was (reluctantly) prepared to pay £50-£70 but I simply can't afford or justify paying those prices, it's pricing the average fan like myself out of the game.

The most I have paid for a ticket following Stoke is £42 for Old Trafford, the average Premier League game is about £30, while Bolton only charge £21. To put things further into perspective I have this week paid £15 for Stoke v Brighton on Saturday.

It may be the Champions League final but it is still just a game of football, and those prices simply cannot be justified.

You are soooo right! It's a shame what they've done to the 'PEOPLES GAME'! I found this video and I think it get the point (except the police scenes)

When I see this prices I should be lucky my team is only playing 3th league :icontwisted8pz::angry::(
