  1. Entangled quarks break Einstein's rule that nothing can travel faster than c

Is that for sure? Or is that a hypothetical particle, like the tachyon? Oh, the college is keeping me so busy that I have enough time to read physic resources.

  2. Clearly you didn't read my whole post. I was discussing troops or govt. aid. The point of sharing the videos is to raise awareness. No one thinks they are physically helping the situation by clicking a button. But, that's irrelevant since it wasn't what I was talking about.

Sorry, I read your whole post, but I took that portion out of context to make other questions which are still in topic, since you said "I don't understand why anyone wouldn't want to help", and anyone is, well, anyone.

  3. It's sad, but I'm pretty sure worse things are happening right now, and in all honesty I do not think we can do much. People watch the video, buy products, etc. and when this is over, they'll think they made a change, which I really doubt they will. Of course, I'm not saying it's wrong to try, but still.

  4. Hello people! I don't know if anyone here I know anymore. I have been absent from this site for like 2 or 3 years. I'm Matt. I can't remember what my old profile name was haha nor the password.

    So, hello :)

Never talked to you, but I remember. Welcome back.

  5. It's so nice. I like the colors and the font you used; however, I don't like those things in Emma's shoulder, since it has shadow, those things are out of place in my opinion. But it's just a small detail in a design full of awesomeness.

  6. Secondly, for the creationists among us. How does evolution and the evidence on evolution fit in with creationism? The two don't seem to be able to coexist, because its ideas are so radically different.

I also understand that some people believe the Earth is about 10000 years old. I am interested to see whether there are supporters of that particular view on this forum and if so, how they would explain the existance of anything over 10000 years ago, for example galaxies hundreds of thousands of lightyears away from us.

First, Creationism and evolution aren't so unrelated to each other as people might think. The evolution is a set of changes or transformations through time that originated various forms of life, however, it does not explain how the universe began. Anyway, the evolution theory explains that life began in the oceans, so does the Bible:

"And God said, 'Let the waters swarm with swarms of living creatures...'" - Genesis 1:20

Being said this, I believe God made all living creatures, but we can't be sure how He did it. Maybe the Evolution is kind of right, I say "kind of" because it was given by people who denied the existence of God, and of course, they took God out from their "equations". Now, God made us, the human being, as special creatures, with His own hands. Therefore, I don't think we are products of evolution.

Second, some people believe Earth is about 10000 years old because the Bible says God made everything in seven days, and they take those days as a day of 24 hours, whereas the time of God is different since He is "out of time".
