Mr. Pumpkinhead Posted February 26, 2011 Share Posted February 26, 2011 Most of us are familiar with the Who.Am.I? and how it's played. This is a little more simple for those of us who may not be comfortable playing the forum Who.Am.I?, because we don't have to give any personal information out as it is based off of the Harry Potter series. Basically, someone picks a character from the books and the other members who wish to participate have to ask questions that will lead them to finding out who that character is. Whomever gets the character right first gets to create the new Harry Potter Who.Am.I? Feel free to use your imagination in picking the character as it could be any character in the series from Albus Dumbledore to Zacharias Smith, or even someone/something like the Giant Squid if you wish. There are not too many restrictions, but when asking questions you should limit yourself to 3 questions per post and not post questions again until the HP Who.Am.I? has answered your questions. You can ONLY GUESS one character per post if you choose to guess a character. In answereing the questions, the Who.Am.I? can be as specific or vague as they wish as long as they don't outright misrepresent the character. I know there are some potential pitfalls in that, but we'll see how it goes. We all have varying knowledge about the series, so if you do not know the answer to one of the questions, you are at liberty to express that if you do not know, even though I imagine you could look up many answers you are not sure of either in the books or on the internet (as long as it's a trusted source). In trying to assure fairness, I just ask that whomever has the winning guess PM me with who the new HPWAI will be. Therefore, after this first turn I will never get to win a turn and pick the HPWAI again, but this way I can ensure that no one is just being maliciously evasive or that they forget who they picked as a character. I'll start off by picking a Character to be the first HP Who.Am.I? Once a character has been picked, they CAN be picked again, but must go through at least 5 turns before they can become the HPWAI again. Therefore if Hermione Granger were the first HPWAI she could not be HPWAI again until the 7th turn of the game at the earliest. If you have any game questions/concerns please ask and I will do my best to clarify. So lets begin!!! The first Harry Potter Who.Am.I? is waiting to be discovered, can you guess who he/she is? (To ensure that I don't forget my character I will pm Ariebella with the answer to the first HPWAI, as such she will not be allowed to guess in this first round.)
