padfoot
And can you write with the opposite fairly well?
Kim.
Right-handed.I grew up writing and coloring as a small child with my left hand. I suppose after first or second year of school, I switched writing hands. However, I would venture to say I'm ambidextrous. Although my dominant hand has become the right one, my natural instinct is to pick up a guitar or violin and play with my left hand. After I originally injured my right wrist nearly two years ago, I took to writing with the left hand. It doesn't come out perfectly in English, but I don't write too bad in Greek with my left hand. Will
Right handed. And I can write well with my opposite hand
ckravitz
Right, but a catch a ball with my left hand (when I'm playing baseball with a mit on, that is).
vida
Leftie and proud! However, I can do pretty much everything with my right hand too, as many appliances, artefacts and utensils are designed for right-handed people.
Arie
Left... and I can't do a single thing with my right hand!! lol Funniest part is that both my parents are right handed....
vida
Left... and I can't do a single thing with my right hand!! lol Funniest part is that both my parents are right handed.... Do you have a can opener for left-handed people? I found that really hard, but I learnt how to do it with my right hand... in the end... LOL Neither of my parents are left-handed either. I've done a lot of research on the subject, and inheritance is up for debate.Apparently it has more to do with how our brains developed while in the womb.

I can hardly ever open cans >.< lol... I can usually use the bigger ones. But, those small metal ones.. never! The hardest thing for me is scissors actually lol. Hhhhmmm... interesting! Will
Until what I know, the right or left handed thing is not genetic, so it doesn't matter if your parents are both right handed or not ;P Edited March 1, 2011 by Will

The hardest thing for me is scissors actually lol. Hhhhmmm... interesting! Oh yes, the bigger ones are much easier for lefties! I learnt how to use the old, small metal ones backwards so I could use it with my left hand! (I was just too scared of puncturing a finger if it accidentaly slipped from my right hand!) Have you learnt to use the mouse with your right hand? I use it with my right hand at work because sometimes we share computers and don't want to bother the next person with my left-handyness! LOLBut at home I have my laptop and then I use the pad with my left hand... and I have much more precision then, I must admit.
Arie
Wow!!! Backwards ay??? Tech me your ways!!!! lol I can sort of... but only if it is a mouse that is made to contour your right hand. Those once are impossible for me to use. But, I am still really bad at it. I tend to stick to my laptop for that reason. lol You really learned how to adapt well!!! I am such a failure still hahahaha. Yeah track pads are better. Apple now cells a track pad you can use as a mouse so I am thinking about buying one of those for my desktop lol or if I ever need it for work and such.
hobbitses
im right handed, but for any sports involving hands and a ball, i use my left hand
The Dude
I am sinister but I can play guitar right handed. Which I don't know why that's considered playing right handed when it's my left hand that has to make all the dexterous movement by forming the chords whereas the right hand just plucks and strums. I used to bat right handed. And as you all know, us southpaws are the only ones in our right mind.
flying kiwi
I'm right handed My boyfriend is weird though, he writes with his left hand, but does pretty much everything else with his right hand. Which I'm happy with, after playing guitar hero with his left handed friend and having to change the settings every time he played/stopped playing.
Antares
I'm right handed and I cannot write with my left hand at all. I can type with my left hand, though.

Comrade Chris
im am left handed, and i control the mouse of my compter with my right hand, its the same with my laptop trackpad Usama Bin Laden is left handed, that makes me fell ashamed to be lefty.
Emmas Friend
I'm right-handed, can't write at all with the left hand
Danielle
I am right handed, my left hand is pretty useless except for typing and holding things. What about footed? When playing football my right foot is the strongest but I am also quite adept in using my left foot too.
Imagine
Right handed, but thats only with writing. When it comes to playing the guitar i use my left hand and I used to paint with my left hand too. Also I dont know if this is weird or not, but most people have their fork in their left hand and knife in right. Well i eat with my fork in my right and knife in my left, NO ONE i know does this and i find it odd lol. But i learnt that it has something to do with how we use our brains, but i am not a expert on it.
Antares
When playing football my right foot is the strongest but I am also quite adept in using my left foot too. When playing football I suck either way but feel kicks using my right foot follow the general intended direction, which can't be said about kicks using the left foot. When it comes to playing the guitar i use my left handI use both. The left hand on the neck and the right picking or strumming. I actually can't really play guitar but that how I hold it whenever I try.
