Goodbye Harry Potter

Recommended Posts

This may look similar to the other thread I just made but, this one isn't for Harry Potter videos. This is for writing goodbye messages to Harry Potter. I don't care if it's a stupid topic. I thought it was a good idea. :tongue0020:

Though the movies and books can be watched and read over and over again. They'll never be made or written again.

I'd just like to say, thank you J.K Rowling for bringing Harry Potter into my life. Thank you to the actors who have put their talent into making the movies. I am eternally grateful. I have grown up with Harry Potter since I was 8 or 9 and it's been some great years. Buying merchandise and the movies. Pretending I’m Hermione and at break times in school acting the movies out with friends.

Goodbye Harry Potter. <3

Hey guys just remember that this is only the beginning. The end of the saga only marks the beginning of a legacy. When the original Star Wars trilogy in 1986, popularity for the saga only skyrocketed. I trust the same fate will be seen of Harry Potter.

I feel so upset everytime I see this topic I made.

But yeah it is the end of an era for us. :/ The beginning of a legand for everyone else. Though the legend will also be in our lives, Harry Potter started and finished in our lifetime. ):

I'm going to be very sad when I see the final film. I've grown up with HP. I love it so much and always will. The story is definitely finished though. There's nothing left to tell so of course it should end, but it will be sad nonetheless, since it marks the end of a big chapter in my life. What a phenomenal series of books and movies. I will be forever grateful to the genius of J.K. Rowling. Goodbye Harry Potter. "The End" has come too soon.

Ahh its really good bye this time. :( :sob

I'm so glad about the idea of DH being made in two parts. I'll be going to the Wizarding World next year, so for me it won't be official over untill I been there!

And As its been said. Harry will never really leave. The Harry Potter Saga will be a legend! I'm so glad to have been part of it and its been so much fun.

Thanks Jo!

While I didn't grow up with Harry Potter, I was 19 when I read the first book. And I remember my senior year of HS, Harry Potter had just come out and kids there were discussing it.

I just remember the magic of watching the first film, and being blown away by it. I was most impressed with Emma's acting, but I thought that everyone was good in it.

It definitely is the end of an era for me. Star Wars was way before my time (well, SW came out in '77, and I was born in '82), so Harry Potter is my thing.

I'm really very grateful to JO who has created a good novel, I read Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone when I was 13 years old until now she has been with me for almost 11 years, saw the movie and novel are missing out as there is in me, don't feel like it's over because this is a beautiful dream, I'll cry and sad but there is certainly a feeling of relief, thank you JO , thank you harry potter, you giving a beautiful dream and imagination for 11 years I'll really miss. :sob::(

Yeah I can't believe HP has come to its end, wow, it feels a bit odd. I feel so lucky to have lived in the HP era haha. But I'm not really sad about it ending, I mean that's life, things are always changing.
