hello everybody!
i need help with my environmental science homework and i thought maybe you guys could help me out
my question is what 5 major environmental crisis happened during the 1950's in america?
this seems like a really silly question to ask, but i've looked it up and the page always brings to crisis's in china

so far i have
overpopulation
industrailization
rise of cars
and maybe landfills?

do these seem good?

For the moon never beams without bringing me dreams
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;
And the stars never rise but I feel the bright eyes
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;
And so, all the night-tide, I lie down by the side
Of my darling- my darling- my life and my bride,
In the sepulchre there by the sea,
In her tomb by the sounding sea.

I've been looking for a while now to find an answer to your question, but I'm having the same problem as you are. I cannot find the right one it seems. However, I did come across one that talked about insects being an environmental problem in the 50's.

So the five that I would say are:

Overpopulation
Pollution
Industrialization
Scarce rainfall
Pests & Insects

I used to suck at environmental science when I was in school and still do it even after completing my college.
But I am good at math and could seriously help you with your link deleted.

Hello and welcome to the forum. This forum is to help people with their homework based on the knowledge that other members have as well as what they can research on the internet and other sources. Advertising is not allowed, nor is it a way to help people out, hence the reason I deleted the link. That is a good way to make the students fail their class for plagarism and besides, it's not free.
