Joe attempts to make a photography!

Recommended Posts

I now have a Canon 600D, so I'm taking photos......

Enjoy.....

I've taken this lot over the course of two weeks.

None have been edited in any way.

That's my sister by the way. Say hello.

I quite like this one for some reason. Its the background on my laptop actually.

Kinda the same but with some other thing in the background

These last three could have been better but I had to rush them because it was raining and getting my camera wet.

Top of an old digger in a abandoned quarry.

Plant coming through the tracks on the digger

This was beside it

I plan on, at some stage, going back to the place and getting some better/more pics of some of the other machinery.

Man, photographing dogs is hard!

The people that took some of our puppies from our last litter dropped around for a visit and let the dogs have a play with their parents, couldn't resist the chance to take a few snaps!

-----------------------------------------

She saw our parrot and wanted to eat it....

Dog dog dog

She has a bone as you can see

I don't even know what the dog is doing?

Mum was giving her food so she was on her best behavior

Then there is our retard dog with her stupid grin

Looking at the our other stroppy dog who wasn't allowed out to start problems

Whats a visit without a dead rat to roll in?

Then the cat came to see what all the noise was about

The cat was not amused to say the least

I really didn't know what I was trying to get photos of really........

Also, thanks Sarah!

And yes! Everyday is a Spongebob day!

Decided that I'm going to try and post at least one photo a day in here (And my tumblr if I can remember). Not just to show my (Minimal) skills and improvements, but also to keep me on my toes and photographing more and more. I suppose I'll post the camera info along with it just because.

So today I got in touch with my feminine side and took a photo of a rose in the garden.

Taken on my 55-250mm lens

f/7.1

1/400sec Shutter

ISO-200

250mm focal length

No flash

I love the depth of field in these pictures of your puppy! :D And your cat reminds me of a marshmallow with Heterochromia xD

Anyway, these are pretty good for some of your first shots...my first picture with a dslr was a rose haha.

Haha, thanks heaps.

The DOF is so shallow because it mainly on the long end of my 55-250mm lens.

Really was having a bad night, could hardly take a photo that I liked!

So this will do

f/5.6

1/50sec shutter

ISO 200

Focal length 107mm

Actually used the flash this time!

I actually hate using flash but this is really cute :3 also, if you put a tissue or napkin in front of the flash while it's firing, the shadows should come out a little softer..

Nice shots you defo have an eye for photography.

Thanks mate!

I made this yesterday when my boredom level was at 100%

When I exported the video it cut out the last few seconds for some reason so it doesn't end as nicely and it doesn't fade out the audio to well.

Color corrected the hell out of it too! haha

I haven't taken much photos in aaaaaaaaaages!

Mainly because I lost my charger and had no battery to be able to take them!

But I've got an new one and I'm back in action.

Anyway, I've got a few that I think are alright so I'll put em up.

All of them have been edited in some way, not anything big though. Just sorta little color temp and contrast changes, I wanted to keep them still looking as normal as possible.

So yeah, feel free to let me know what you think, give advice or anything like that....

Thanks
