Term Paper help? maybe

I'm working on my term paper for this class called "Corporations, Politics, & Society". I've been doing research for the past two weeks but keep ending up at different places. Currently I'm doing research just to discover facts on this topic not opinions. I'm choosing my paper topic on the domestic (or international) legal arms trade and the small arms industry [both to government and civilian use]. Anyone whose seen the movie Lord of War should see what I'm getting at.

 

Anyone have any idea on what I should concentrate the research on? Again I'm not looking for any opinions on the morality of this subject just facts about its effects on business, trade, and economy.
