For the moon never beams without bringing me dreams
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;
And the stars never rise but I feel the bright eyes
Of the beautiful Annabel Lee;
And so, all the night-tide, I lie down by the side
Of my darling- my darling- my life and my bride,
In the sepulchre there by the sea,
In her tomb by the sounding sea.

They do start on the 29th, however...

NBC is not broadcasting any Paralympic events to U.S. audiences except for a highlights show on September 16 from 2 p.m. to 3.30 p.m. ET.

The RNC runs from the 28th thru 30th (a day delayed because of possible weather).

The Paralympics is from the 29th thru September 9, with only the opening ceremony on the 29th, and a few events on the 30th.

I would guess it's because NBC figures the ratings for the Paralympics will be less than the ratings for the crap they normally broadcast.

I think they're showing some highlights of the US's paralympics this year as opposed to nothing at all, but this will be more 1 hour highlights instead of all day coverage. I think there might be online coverage like there was for the olympics but I might be wrong about that. From what I remember the paralympics haven't really been covered heavily in the US. I'd say Dook's spot on, odds are they don't think it will do well ratings wise which isn't saying much seeing as it's NBC...

The BBC aren't covering the Paralympics, Channel 4 are taking over which should be fun with adverts -_-

I went to the Paralympics, it was the most awe inspiring thing ever, blind long jumpers, blind runners, and seeing paralympic records get smashed, was one of the best days of my life!
