Feels good to be back on the forum after such a long time. :')

I have just started out. I own an EOS 550D and the basic kit lens (18-55mm).

Anyway, these were taken for class assignments. :)

I guess I'll get better with time.

I agree with Dina on the composition of the first image. My favourite one's are the scientist one's they look professional and as for the other two. I love how retro they look. All those snaps are perfect to me!

Thanks both! :) I just began photography at college this semester and I am loving it. :) Have problems with indoor (studio) shoots though. :P

Very nice! I love these ones in particular. It seems like they're lacking quality though :o

LOL... that happened during resizing. I didn't upload the HQ versions. :) Copyright reasons.I haven't come up with a watermark yet. :P

Thanks anyway. :)

Great work! I love the lighting in all your pics

thank you :)

These two look awesome. The focus in the first photo is great and the lighting and tone in the second photo are nice ^^

thank you! :)

I bought a new lens last week. A canon 50mm 1.8. Love the wide aperture and sharpness of the images. :) And it doesn't hurt that it is super cheap as well. ;) Can't wait for college to re-open so that I can use it in the studio.

I clicked these using the new lens:

you can find the image descriptions, etc. on my deviantART page.
