@helen2U: you have no idea...... And calling somebody, asking questions, a stalker, is really heavy. Do you always accept everything without asking questions? But the discussion is usless and this thread is not the right place for it. Last to that.

Mr Carinthia, I did not call you an online stalker, please read what I wrote. I said about myself, that I would not become one, that is what I seriously meant. Then again excuse my gemini type/way of writing. So PLEASE do not take things personal. I go take my monty python pill, be back soon.

Your reason for becoming a fan of Emma doesn't make you a "greatest fan" (whatever that is anyway). Everyone here has their own reason for liking Emma, no one reason makes any fan more special than the other.

Ouch!!!
Come on Jonny, this is not the place for a "Who-has-the-weirdest-reasons-for-liking-Emma" competition...which I'm not sure you would win anyway.

And now, for something completely different...
....why would ANY respectable actress be a part of something like 50 shades of grey? I mean seriously, what could you possibly gain from being part of that? If its just about one grown-up woman discovering her like for SM-stuff.....wow....so exciting -_- ...maybe it's a good book for summer holidays, but a movie? Nah...

There's so much hype around the book that I can see why a lot of actresses might go for it. I'm sure the movie would have to be watered down to get it an accessible rating, in any case.

Which would make it some run-of-the-mill-wannabee-provocative-movie....if emma wants to parade around in front of the camera in various states of undress, I'm sure she can get script writers for future "serious" movies alter her role accordingly...I mean if it makes sense in the movie context, we're not going to complain about emma in the shower with lots of soap & hot water...

 can't believe I just said that....

Uh, yeah. I hate the book so I'm not really going to be encouraging any actresses that I like to take the part. :P But I can see why an actress looking for a quick boost to her career would. :P

Yeah. I never read Twilight and never will and I am not into stuff like 50 Shades of Grey but this video was intriguing to me and gave me even more of a reason not to bother with either Twilight of 50 Shades of Grey lol

Well Emma herself had to release a statement...see that is another reason why I cant stand the media-they will indeed link her to every movie out there and then Emma is expected to have to respond to every single one? Yeah I would say that I am pretty sure Emma has better things to do with her time than to say no I will not be in this repeatedly.

Anyway I was shocked to hear that this was actually a TW fan fic writer when I found out-that right there should have given readers a clue! LOL But again I wont put down people who have read it (my best friends have although I question THEIR taste because they are my best friends LOL kidding...) -apparently there was a draw to this book(s) and people have been reading it-alot of people! I read 5 pages and had to stop-way too graphic and IMO horribly written.

Well I guess there's really no way to write at length about ppl doing it without it sounding either plain&graphic or romantically overdone.

I think, that more films is cute, than nothing. You can't know, if this is best film in world or maybe next generation will find it like classic.
I have so many times wish, that this girl in screen was Emma, while watching "Detachment" and many others.

Ok, here's the thing. Today there are reports that an anonymous person hacked into a studio in Germany or somewhere and found documents that had Emma confirmed for 50 shades. This sounds pretty far fetched to me and I still don't see Emma doing this movie but there is a very far stretched, however, "if" and it's a very strong IF. Say they get a very good director to direct it like Darren Aranoffsky or Sophia Coppola, both whom Emma has worked with before. Say they did that and then they get a very good screen writer and I'm saying genius here that could turn a piece of crap into gold type of a writer because this is essentially what would have to happen here. Also say they get a great leading "Hot" man to play the love interest Grey. Say Ryan Gosling or Liam Hemsworth, or Chris Evans you know a really tall, strong and sweet all around Hot guy. Last but not least they pay the leads a huge amount of money say at least 20 mill or more to do the parts. If all these things come together and in this way then I could see this happening. Though this is the only way that what would be a raunchy porn flick be able to be made into what would essentially be a good movie with a strong R rating; that millions of fans would flock to see. :) Thats how I feel about it. So I guess an IMO should go here. :) Thanks for reading.

I just wanted to add that Lena Dunham the creator and writer of "Girls" HBO, may be able to write a screenplay that would work for this. I beleive she would have the ability to turn this novel that is to me, even though a good story, very poorly written and boring, into something good. Maybe a heavyweight like Harvey Weinstien would have the cajones to take this on. Yes, and that is a dare. lol
