padfoot
What do you all think of this show? It premiered here last night, it's definitely intriguing.
Lady Deadpool
I'm a HUGE fan of both the books and the series. Not to mention the soundtrack <3 lol. But yeah the show is amazing, every single actor is awesome. Can't wait until next April or so for season 3!
Slash
love this show, awesome story as Dina said, cant wait till the nxt season to come out
flying kiwi
I love it, can't wait for the second series to come out on DVD as I'm behind the times on everything. Always wait for the DVD's as we either don't have the right channels or they're shown at funny times and we end up missing them. I'm currently reading the first book as well, I made my boyfriend buy them all, I should probably hurry up and move onto the 2nd one so he can have a read as well.
Badab
i love the Series, too. The books a i love even more. So many nice night with the books in my hand and his pictures in my head. Have some of you seen the First Episode of seson three?
Lady Deadpool
Yep, loved it! I'm so excited for this season! I love Tyrion's comebacks Oh the baby dragons are growing older Also I know that we're still a lot of episodes away, but I'm still not emotionally ready for the Red wedding. My heart is going to be exploded in million little pieces.
Badab
i´m too. But the Wedding will be next season, also the fantastic end of the realationship between Tyrion, Shae and Tywin. I loved it in the Book. And yes the sweet Dragons. I´m exited to see them help Dany get her army. Damned i love her and the dragons. But Aegon i still prefer for the iron throne, he at least can have Children who can make a dynasty for the next 300 years. Edited April 6, 2013 by Badab
Lady Deadpool
Next season? I don't think so, I clearly remember reading that it was episode 9 of this one. I read it back when they were still shooting :/
Badab
This Season? That would be great. God i can´t wait to see it. Robb is not a bad king, but he is not strong enough, is he?
Lindalumos
I cried when Catelyn told the Jon Snow story in the newest episode..
Badab
Oh. I liked it. But it is sadder for Snow i think. HAve you read the books? Every time he was better then Robb in anything, Catelyn look at him in a way that said "what right do you have to be better than Robb? You can never be more worth than he is, never" Thats sad. I liked Thoros, he seems to me like a funny guy^^ I that at first it would be Tom o Seven and i haven´t seen Lem or Harwin.
Lady Deadpool
Indeed, he was cool LOL @ toddlers and tiaras http://9gag.com/gag/7089334?ref=fb.s
Badab
Thanks for the link, very funny. Have you seen, the last Episode.Such a shame, Theon goes true it almost unharmed, and Jamie, has to loose his hand. If they spare Theon, why not Jamie? That was terrible, in the series and the book. I like the Kingslayer. And the Scene where the small council meets was very nice made, wasn´t it?
Lady Deadpool
Indeed, but Theon's suffering are not over yet. And yeah Jamie, best swordsman in Westeros and now? That thing is gonna change him a LOT! haha yes I love Tyrion, he's so witty!
Badab
Yes it let him think, thats good and i think one day he will kill "his" paramour, if you knew what i mean, the Queen of Whores. But it is still his Swordhand, i wanted to see him use it some more. Yet i have to wait on some other. Maybe Aegon with an Valyrian sword from the Golden Company in some years or Jon Snow defending the Wall. Theon will suffer some more yes, but that was´t Ramsey who saved him, was it? I thought the leader of the hunters was ramsey. But we will see.
Badab
I have watched the last episode only 5min ago. Amazing. Like you said Theons pain is not over yet. The scene with the wizard was nice, and new. I also liked how Margery is playing the bad girl and has a good influence on Joffrey. I hope he still will have his ehh special Wedding. The best was for me that Jamie found his courage beg. He has some good deeds to do. And Most of all Danaerys got her Army. The scene where she speaks Valyrian and surprised all with her dragon was one of my favorite in the book and it was made fantastic in the Series.
Sterre**
I have never seen GOT, but maybe I should because our national pride the pretty actress Carice van Houten is playing Melisandre in it .
Badab
They have many actors and actresses from different lands in it. Makes it a great fun and helps get the quality up.
I am Not Purple
I haven't read the previous comments because of spoilers. But I started watching yesterday and finished season 1 today. And I must say I love the show. I'm mad that they killed Sean Bean. >;(My fav. character. Edited May 7, 2013 by I am Not Purple
Badab
Yeah, was really sad, but in the Books it was the same. Season 2 is even better, self if Ned is dead. But his Spirit lives in Robb. And one thing i can promise you. The House Stark will still exist in book 6!
Lady Deadpool
But I started watching yesterday and finished season 1 today. And I must say I love the show. Yaaay! Who's a good boooooy, Widu's a good boooooy. I freaking hate Joffrey even more after the latest episode, that sadistic motherlover. I'm curious though who's worse Joffrey or Ramsey?
Badab
Joffrey is the Child of his Mother. She made him what he is and of course the disinterest of Robert. If Jamie would been there to raise him, i mean if he had get the chance, he would be a better person. Ramsey on the other hand seems to me cruel from nature. His Father is also cruel, only that he can hide it better behind courtesy. But in fact i don´t like any Bolton. Hope they all die. Have you seen the latest episode? From yesterday evening? Loved that Jon snow got so many place in it. i love him, and Yigitte is nice, too. The poor lad will have a bad time yet to come, and Stannis will challenge him. Wish he could have get his offer sooner, but if not in the books, maybe in the Series. Sansa is a bit unfair against Tyrion. He is a good man, not the handsomest you can get, but he always treated her well and will do so in the future. Edited May 13, 2013 by Badab
Jade
^The death was very belittling and is pretty much key for setting up the next 7-8 series. (If they're made into a show.) However, it was sad to see him die in such a way. I vowed never to watch this because if I wanted porn I'd get it from somewhere else, but everyone in my class watches it but me and I was fed up of sitting there like a numpty. So I caught up to date over the past 3 days and watched the last airing episode yesterday. The plot is weak and the narrative is messy. Everyone keeps saying it's a masterpiece but to me it's good, but not that good. It's very simplistic but has the odd nice sub-plot. Joffrey needs to die immediately but alas I'll have to wait until season 4. Daenerys is my second favourite character next to Arya. I've started the books and may I say Joffrey's death is so dissatisfying! His death is weak! If anyone has read the books, I'd like to discuss.
Badab
I have read all the books, so you can discuss it with me. But better in another Topic or per pn. But what death do you mean? Yigitts? I don´t know what you are expecting, but it is a very good transformation from book to Tv. Of course there are some parts missing and if you ask me, i love the books more, but it is still very good. Yes Joffrey needs time for season four. I prefer Dany over Arya. Arya is too old in her acting for her age in my opinion, but thats something that is in the books, so it is not the vault of the series. And about joffrey, write an pn. Jade
No I said Joffrey, he dies in A Storm of Swords which will be season 4. However, it has been said in Season 4 they are changing the person who kills him.
