I just saw it tonight.

As far as rom-coms go, it was very well written. There's a lot of good physical comedy from the male lead since he can't talk very much, and there's pretty good chemistry between them both.

It pokes fun at the zombie genre, although not quite as much as Zombieland did. I'd say it's more cheesy than meta.

The zombies aren't really the focus of the story, more like just a part of the setting.

There are a lot of references to Romeo and Juliet for some reason. It makes it seem like some sort of homage.

People who expect a Zombieland-esque zombie movie will probably be dissapointed, but I like a good rom-com when it's done right.

I saw the preview when I went to see the Hobbit last weekend. It looks like a cute, fun movie! I don't think I'll go see it in theaters but ill definitely watch it at some point.

I have been thinking of reading the book, do you guys recomend it?

Yes! The book is cheesy, but really fun! At some points I was rolling my eyes, but I couldn't put it down. It's a nice change from all the vampire love stories lol :)

It's pretty much the same thing. Critics are saying it's twilight all over again but with a zombie instead. It's still the basic storyline of supernatural boy falling in love with mortal girl, with the same cheesy stuff of possibilities why in can't work in between. They're exactly the same apart from the actors within it.

However, I'm hoping the acting is dominantly more better than Twilight. I know Nic can act, not sure about everyone else. I'll have to wait and see. I should be watching it tomorrow.
