Volleyball, in my opinion, is the most fun sport to play. I didn't even plan on playing until my freshman year of highschool and I showed up to the last non-mandatory team practice because one of my friends convinced me to. I found out that I was pretty good at it and one year later, after my sophmore season, I'm being recruited by Stevenson University and with other college coaches telling me that they are going to watch my progress!

Anyone else here play or watch volleyball??

I was referee in the highest Austrian League for more then 15 years. In my opinion it is a very good sort of sport. Only thing is: you should learn and practice it only under the guidance of experienced trainers to prevent an injury of the joints (especially in the legs).

I don't play but I often watched my friends and my brother play. I like this sport because i feel there is a lot of fair play and a good spirit that I don't see in Football for example.

Nurture strength of spirit to shield you in sudden misfortune.
But do not distress yourself with dark imaginings.
Many fears are born of fatigue and loneliness.
Beyond a wholesome discipline,
be gentle with yourself.
