Playoffs are over now. The Superbowl is next Sunday and it will be the Green Bay Packers and the Pittsburgh Steelers playing.

Well, I guess I'd root for the Packers. Heard the QB of the Steelers is accused to be a rapist?

I'm definitely going for the Packers. Pittsburgh as a city has had a lot of sports success lately. I don't like when cities get a monopoly on that.

I read somewhere that the tickets to stand outside the Dallas Cowboys stadium are $200 a piece for the Super Bowl and that you have to buy them in sets of 4. So that's 800 bucks just to stand outside the stadium where the game is. Ridiculous.

So now, the concern in the NFL is the lockout for the 2011-12 season. Do you think the lockout will stand?

Unfortunately I'm afraid so. I think if the owners would just give a little then they could come to an agreement and everything would be okay.

Well, maybe in one of these meetings between the NFL and the NFL Players Association, they'll be able to come up with something. The plan right now is to do the draft, and then after that, then everything will go up in flames.

If the NFL lockout happens, maybe we will see the return of the XFL:

Well, the NFL is now unlocked and the teams have started to do some deals, trades, Randy Moss retires...so who's ready for the new football season?

I'm more ready for the NFL then college because the college season was never threatened like the NFL season was. It's just a relief that they came up with a deal when they did.
