Movies That Make You Cry

Recommended Posts

As much I hate to admit it, I cry (or try to hide my tears :-\) quite a bit, while watching sad films. :P

But these films always guarantee tears :

Titanic

Remember Me

Autumn in New York

A walk to remember

Sweet November

Kal ho na ho (Bollywood movie)- I just can't handle the death of characters played by Shahrukh Khan... :sob:

The only film I can ever remember making me cry is The Lion King.

There are a few that have brought a tear to my eye, though, namely Up and Toy Story 3.

I am hoping that if DH2 plays its cards right, that'll be the next. I'll be emotional about the end of the series anyway, so The Forest Again will probably get me, if not the Prince's Tale...

Titanic

Time Travellers Wife (more in the book though)

Marley and Me

My Sisters Keeper

I got a bit emotional at The Last Song. I don't really like Miley. But her dad's illness killed me for personal reasons.

Twilight. Because I'll never get those two hours of my life back.

 haha.

I pretty much never cry to movies, I cry more when watching TV-show (more invested in characters) and also if I'm emotional I'll cry like a baby to loads of Disney movies, especially The Fox and the Hound, Tarzan and The Lion King. Most often I cry when watching animal documentaries  Mostly because I'm so touched by some animal behaviors, or if something is incredibly cute I'll cry my eyes out.

Twilight. Because I'll never get those two hours of my life back.

 Amen

I see that we have similar tastes in movies too!

'The Lion King' was the first one that I truly cried.

'Up' has quite a dark beginning, same as 'Finding Nemo', but I was OK as it was uplifting from then on...

But 'Toy Story 3' did make me cry again... the last little bit had me in tears.

I don't want to spoil it in case there is someone in the world who hasn't seen it yet :P

Twilight. Because I'll never get those two hours of my life back.

Same, same. My only trouble is that it was much longer, as I read the books instead! :lostit:

That is the worst! I hate it when animals are hurt or die :( I've heard of "Marley and Me" but I haven't watched it.

Pretty much every movie will make me cry, I always find something that will get the waterworks started XD

- Dumbo (when he's with his mom while she's chained up)

- The Fox and the Hound (When Widow Tweed takes Tod back to the forest)

- The Lion King (Mufasa's death)

- The Land Before Time (I can't remember which movie it is, but it's when Littlefoot's mother dies...)

- A Walk to Remember

- Amazing Grace

- Fly Away Home

- Tangled

- Toy Story 3

- My Sister's Keeper

- Up

- Over the Hedge (don't ask HAHA)

There are a lot more that I can't think of right now..

Twilight. Because I'll never get those two hours of my life back.

 ! That's why I never watched it. ^_^

oh and i forgot...

i cried the most when i watched philadelphia with tom hanks. SO so sad. but i had a bad day back then haha.

has anybody seen it? its sooo sad

I cannot watch that movie any longer. I completely break down when I watch it, and the Bruce Springsteen song (I believe it was by him?) brings tears to my eyes.

---

For me (hmm. thinking. thinking.):

-"The First Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" at the end. -_-

-"Freedom Writers", I read the book after I saw the movie. Still got me emotional.

-"My Sister's Keeper"

I can't think of any others at the moment. I don't cry as much as I used to.

Oh me too. It takes a lot for me to cry over humans but when it's animals.. Can't help it.

Armageddon

Oh gosh, yes. The end. And 'I Don't Want To Miss A Thing' by Aerosmith. *sob*

- The Fox and the Hound (When Widow Tweed takes Tod back to the forest)

- Up

I don't even want to watch The Fox and the Hound anymore because of that scene.

I cried so much in the movies while watching Up. ♥
