Is there anyone on this forum who listens to bands like:
  • Depeche Mode
  • New Order
  • Orchestral Maneuvers in the Dark (OMD)
  • The The
  • Talk Talk
  • Camouflage
  • Erasure
  • A Flock of Seagulls
  • R.E.M.
  • Echo and the Bunnymen
  • etc, etc
Basically, any alternative bands from the 70s and 80s? I want to know if I'm the only one :P

  • Used to really like DM but haven't listened to them in quite a while
  • Have some OMD, Flock of Seagulls and New Order on an '80s mix I have on the iPod
  • Have a couple of REM albums on the iPod. Need to get Document which is one of their best I feel.
  • Have the The The album Hanky Panky where they do Hank Williams songs, it's really good
  • Never been an Erasure fan
  • The others I never really considered

  • Never been an Erasure fan

The only Erasure song I like is A Little Respect. The others I can easily discard

Yes, I like most of those you listed, with the exception of Erasure, some great bands there.

Most of the music I listen to is rock, alternitive rock and a bit of pop from the 70's - 90's with some 60's and a bit of modern music thrown in for good mix.

I see that everyone likes Depeche Mode, so I think you all will enjoy the video below. It's a student made (University of Southern California School of Cinema-Television) music video for Blasphemous Rumors. Enjoy:

I find it quite interesting, and a job well done on the kids' parts.

You're the first person I've talked to who has ever heard of the band Camouflage. Anyone who likes Depeche Mode will like them; they're literally known on the side as the German Depeche Mode!
