Mrs Duck Posted January 26, 2011 Share Posted January 26, 2011 My humble opinion... I saw this movie a couple of weeks ago without knowing what it was about (:it was about ballet, period). For the entire movie I kept searching for one little spark of positive but found none. This is why I didn't enjoy the movie as much as I could have. It's difficult to enjoy a movie that starts at a pitch-black bottom and just goes down and down and down... Tragedy is at it's best when there is hope, or something to loose. Nina had nothing so there was nothing for her to loose, except her sanity which wasn't much to begin with. However I did appreciate Natalie's performance which was excellent, also Mila Kunis did a fantastic job. Natalie winning and Oscar is only a matter of time and she certainly deserves it for this movie. Link to post Share on other sites
