    Boycott....The Oscars

    After over a decade and not recieving at least one Oscar I've decided against watching this year. Not to mention it looks so boring with whom they have nominated...ugh. I can't believe after all this time HP hasn't recieved one freak'n Oscar. Maybe since there wasn't allowed any American actors in the film and they see turn about as fair play but that is the only reason I can see. PoA deserved an Oscar and so did Deathly Hallows 1 and 2. They were just as deserving as many of other films that have gotten Oscars in the past. So being a true Harry Potter fan I've decided to show "MY Support" at least for the entire film series by boycotting the Oscars this year. It's really the only thing I can do in protest of HP not getting one after all these years. Who's with me? :tongue0020: Oscar Revolt.

     

    Yeah, i know what you mean. I feel the same too. DH deserved a nomination at least.

    I won't see the show because I'm going to a recital, so I won't lose anything... <_<

    Oh man, this is fantastic. I wish they could've done it that way in the movie. THE KISS went by so fast, it was almost a blink and you miss it moment. Honestly, hadn't I known when it was coming, I would have missed it while watching.

     

    On the other hand, it kind of was that way in the book for me too. 500 pages I had waited and waited and expected them to kiss almost every page I turned (i.e. when Ron came back). At this moment during the battle though, I wasn't thinking about anymore. Not at all. There was so much else going on and then all of a sudden .... BAMM. I read it and was like "wait a minute. What was that? That was the kiss, right? Read again!" LOL Then my face broke into the biggest smile I think I ever had. At least while reading. ;)

    Yeah, I agree. They seem like two very different ppl, and they don't even seem close when taking pictures together but I still don't believe that Dan would say all that to that magazine. I think he really likes both Rupert Emma.

    He talked about Rupert twice during a recent interview with a big smile on his face yet he didn't even say a word about Emma. and Rupert did say "I love you" to both Dan&Emma,and I just don't see him as a person who wouldn't just say that.

     

    In fact, I don't think the trio ever has been as close as their caracters

     

    I agree. They will always be connected, but they aren't best friends.
