On the other hand: You see, how different "child-stars" are treated in Europ and USA. Can you ever imagine that Emma would have done such things, dressed like a cheap pincess in a TV-show, squealing around like a crazy mouse?
I don't know who these 2 girls are, but they sound British to me, not American. It sounds like they are from East London.

You did say that, because you basically said that fans have the right to know, the right to find out.

If the celebrity is not willing/able to provide informations about important things, fans must do their own research. I think it is not very funny to be fan of a celeb, appearing 2-3 times a year somewhere in the world with no further informations/comments/stories/quotes.
HOW is where Emma in the world YOUR business? you are NOT her mum or dad, you are NOT her boyfriend (no matter how much you write horrible fan fiction to suggest otherwise) you are just an obseesed fan.
She doesn't let people know where she is because a) it's her private business and 2) she DOESN'T WANT to be stalked by obsessive people.

Well, there is another page on the internet with a so called "Emma-ticker". Fans can post sightings there. So I knew approx. 8 hrs before it was mentioned here for the first time, that she is/was in LA. If you know were to search on the Internet, you can follow her every day. And get all the rumours and untrue stories, she is later complaining about. Bonnie twittered a nice "goodby London" (even with a pic of the plane, she was flying in) and later a simple "LA". She got many nice replies and wishes for a save travel....
It scares me how obsessed some people are...

Trying to get an overview of HP history, it occurred to me that Emma never seemed to be one for the more "casual" events. She doesn't seem to have been to i.e. a fan convention, ever.
Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong
Not a convention as such, though she and Rupert did a signing in France.

She flew over the whole continent just to have lunch with Will in downtown LA? She is interrupting her last-term studies for nearly a week to go to LA for fun? What coincidence that at the same time the Perks DVD came out.....
Sometimes I agree with Emma: "... the more people can wonder!"

You don't actually know what she is doing in California, i'm sure she is not there just to have lunch.

Nobody said she was going to attend the event, somebody on here just said that there were rumours she was in L.A, so to look out for her inase she makes an appearence.

I do not know if you have children, but if you do, I hope you teach them that telling the truth is always "a big deal".

I think at the time there was some confusion as to whether Emma was doing pole dancing for fun, or whether she was doing it for her role as Nicki. She took lessons for playing Nicki and so...?
Some of my friends have learned pole dancing, it's a great form of exercise.

And??????? You are kidding, do you? 8 month ago it was said with hand and feet that she DOES NOT POLEDANCE. To explain it: we wrote, that a rumor says she is doing pole-dance. And it was answered the she DOES NOT POLEDANCE.
And now she does / did.

Again, your are right and there is nothing sinister or indecent with poledancing. The point is, that it was denied with hand and feet that she is doing it, and 8 month later Emma herself is telling us that she does / did it. I mean, what reason is behind this? Because it was written by the Daily Mail? Or maybe because it's fun to confuse people?
Why could she or her people not say: "Yes, Emma is doing pole-dance. It is a trendy exercise many women doing now. And Emma will use her skill in her upcoming role of BLING RING." It could be so easy..... (I used your words, thank you for that).
Hä? The fact that she was/is doing it is the TRUTH. The motivation maybe different, but it was the TRUTH which was denied here, and this makes me wondering......
Yes she did it for her role as Nicki....and?

Jo, is there any modification going on at the official site... All I can see is Home page with some contacts and the Slideshow.. I wonder where are all the articles, latest, screen etc.? Will that be back?
It was decided to just show basic information for the moment instead of displaying old & stale news stories. Emma is back studying, and so news is very slow right now.

This is a screenshot of the header of the article (Daily Mail) from May 2012. It was discussed here and condemmed as the usual "rubbish" from the Daily Fail....

It's probably just the article as a whole that was rubbish, I don't know if the Daily Mail have ever actually written a true piece on her.

Um, Jo DID discuss the suggestions and questions. She DID NOT mention this thread asking for our suggestions. Emma didn't ASK her to make this thread. The thread was for brainstorming purposes for Jo to take to the meeting with Emma.

I saw the movie, and I enjoyed it. It was good harmless fun where you can just forget anything for 2 hours.
I know some people here are very snobby about film, I prefer to be open minded. I like a silly film where you don't have to think about anything - and this is perfect for that.
