Hun, no one's judging you. It certainly isn't part of what I want in my Food and Health forum (for people to reserve judgment on others [even if it's only publicly]). I certainly won't judge you for your food choices. You can eat whatever you want, in as much as you want, so long as you're satisfied with yourself.
I'm sooo jealous, girl!!!! Sounds great! I'd seriously love to have some of that right now .
I love what you've been eating lately, Donna. It seems very filling and delicious. By the way, what is "quark"?
And also Jade and Chris, and Donna, thanks for telling me about the drink named Oasis. Sounds like something I might want to try when I travel.
---
What I ate today:
-Meal one: A chicken ranchera fajita (large tortilla stuffed with grilled, seasoned chicken, with white rice and cilantro, grilled peppers and onions, a ranchera sauce with tomatoes, and a hot salsa to top).
-Finished fresh, all-natural tortilla chips and guacamole. <-- This was my first meal of the day, which was 1pm.
Snack: Snacked on a couple of Ferrero Rocher chocolates at work tonight, and had about two bottles of water.
Drinks: Water, apple cinnamon tea with honey.
I might eat a slice or two of watermelon, but I dunno.
Thank you, its my new slimming world diet. It's amazing.
Quark is soft cheese made with skimmed milk, it's really good for you and really versatile, you can do all sorts with it dinners and even puddings. I've only recently discovered it myself.
mmmmm I love fajita's having them tonight with homemade wedgies
so far I've eaten another fruit salad and yogurt for breakfast (I won slimmer of the week so was given loads of fruit this week haha)
Thinking of having sardines, leeks and carrots for dinner (bit of a mish mash but we need to go shopping for the week so just eating whats in the fridge lol)

Yeah i agree but when you look deep into wht they do you start to think that maybe Faith healers are a big scam. Likei have said.the program -mircles for sale explains a lot.
Even if it is real people have died from not taking medicine and been blamed for not recovering because they didnt have enoug faith or give enough money.
I saw that program your topic is about and I agree faith healers are a load of rubbish. However this topic isn't about faith healers, although faith healers may perform 'exorcisms' its not only them that do them, priests and other religious leaders do, ones who do not specialize in faith healing. I'm not saying that they're real or not, but some people who perform exorcisms could be the real deal.
If anything maybe they could come of use to people who believe they have a demon in them, but actually don't, if you can get them to believe the demon is gone then that can't be bad.
I do know what your saying about people not taking medication, but people who have exorcisms have them because of demons, I'm not an expert but I haven't heard of anyone thinking that a disease is a demon, usually if it is a medical problem it is a mental one and not a physical one. In which case depending on what the mental condition is, like I said before, making the person believe its been cured might actually work.
However, I'm more on the side of its a load of rubbish, plus it could be dangerous, I'm not sure how true it is, but it probably is, but people have died during them, not due to not taking medication because they believe they're cured but because the exorcism itself has gone too far.

Im sorry, i dont believe in this because faith healers claim to do this and people stop taking Medication and can die without it. Check out my Faith Healers thread if you want to know more.
Do faith healers do exorcisms? I didn't realise, although just because some are fake doesn't mean they all are.
However, personally I don't know if I believe this or not, makes for some creepy films, but yeah-I'd almost go as far as saying I don't believe, but I've never experienced or known anyone to experience anything like it. That doesn't however mean it doesn't exist, I'm sure there's plenty I haven't experienced but that doesn't make it fake.

Speaking of leather I'm currently in the market for a "leather" jacket... I'll probably have to wait until the fall or maybe I'll check out ebay... has anyone seen any really cute ones recently? (Not that crazy badass ones, the cute petite girly ones haha)
I bought a brown faux leather jacket on ebay a month or so ago, I LOVE it! I want a black one now though

I'm really enjoying this series, watching the pirate episode again right now with my little boy.
A lot of things were cleared up in the second one, but more questions were opened too, like who is the little girl, there were hints that she could be the doctor and Amy's daughter, however, I don't think thats the case.
-
I've not seen tangled yet, I want to though... Sucks with Mack not being old enough to take to the cinema yet.
-
Has anyone else seen 'Black Cauldron'' its an old one, but completely slipped my radar. It's very good. My boyfriends brother works at the Disney store and went overboard with the buy one get one free's and his discount so he bought my little boy it randomly, along with up.

Haha-I'm not too fond of 3D either, I think it's overrated (probably why I wasn't impressed with the 3Dness of Thor lol) I didn't realise we were going for 3D until we got there. Which was odd as my boyfriend doesn't appreciate 3D either.
Give me a horse!!
We don't sell horses, just cats dogs birds...
Well give me one of those that's large enough to ride!

Are we doing this?!
You may remember 9/11 but not being an American you will never get it. I watched the news and saw what happened in Japan a couple of months ago but I won't do those people the disservice of pretending that I know how they feel.
You wanna talk slaughter? Aren't you from Germany? How bout your boy Hitler. You got no room to talk buddy. You've stepped in something you don't understand man. Now I suggest you just step off guy.
Like it's already been pointed out Hitler wasn't German
But seriously, thats out of line anyway!
It's not fair to say someone wont get that because they're not american either, the world saw what happened and it wasn't only Americans who died. Also other countries have been attacked.
-
I sort of agree that you shouldn't celebrate someones death...but on the other hand he has arranged the murders of thousands of innocent men women and children. He was the face of terrorism. The world is a better place without him, therefore yes it is great that he is finally dead! RIP is def not something I would say either, why should he rest in peace when millions never will because of his deliberate actions.
-
You were right, I loved Thor, we saw it in 3D though and it was slightly disappointing that the best part of the 3D-ness was the credits
-
The royals actually do a lot for our country to be honest. They don't have any power, but they bring in a lot of tourism ect. I don't understand why people are so against them. I think getting rid of the royals would be a big mistake (and they'd still be in the papers as the paps would just follow the former prince of wales ect.)
-
I want to see it, but not sure whether I'll be rushing to the cinema to see it, might wait until it's on DVD for about £3
-
I think it was great, the second one brought up more questions then it answered though

Seeing Thor either tonight or tomorrow YAY!!!! I can't wait, then not long until Captain America

We're looking at buying my little boy some wii games for his Birthday, he will be 3. He already plays pokemon on the gameboy (he obviously doesn't completely get it but he walks around and does the fights).
Does anyone have any suggestions of good games for young ones, but preferably ones which me and my boyfriend can enjoy as well?
