It could be though that they fixed the script to make it better. I am sorry to disagree with my buddies here
but there are so many stupid comedies out there these days that this sounds actually very funny...plus Dan not wanting to do it because it pushed things too far? This is the SAME Dan Radcliffe who was in Equius (Spelling?) I guess we will have to wait and see but so far the cast sounds really good (especially with Emma in it )...I like the fact that she is "stretching her wings" more, trying different roles. Like my best friend said, she can do whatever she wants now-the girl has earned a very nice savings account over the years afterall so I doubt money will ever be an issue I agree with my best friend LOL Touche Kris---somehow I missed your reply. I forgot about Equus!! Ummmmm.....I don't know if she still wants to do a movie or play like Equus now, but here's what Emma said re:seeing Dan "au natural" on stage:

1. Would you like to work with Johnny Depp? I know he's always working with Tim Burton/Helena Bonham Carter in fun/cutting
edge movies.
2. While you were working on HP, did the older cast members ie:Maggie Smith, Alan Rickman, Julie Walters, Emma Thompson etc. help
you and give you advice while filming different scenes?? Would you like to work with the older cast members in any
upcoming projects they might be working on? I know you said Emma Thompson, who shares your birthdate, is your favorite
role model. Can you see yourself collaborating with her on writing a script and acting with her in a movie?
3. I love your middle name, Duerre. It's beautiful and sounds like a surname. Were you named after your grandmother?
4. Do you, or are you learning to ride a unicycle?

Wow, I heard this on Kelly Live today--Julianne Hough was in SS!!!
Julianne is a fantastic dancer, along with her brother Derek. She left "Dancing with the Stars", about 2 yrs ago,
so she could focus on acting/singing.
She told Kelly that when she was about 13, she went to London to study dance, and
her entire school class got to be "extras" in the different houses. She was in Gryffindor, and
she said in the movie scene, she was sitting by Ron Weasley. The memento she kept---her
gold/maroon Gryffindor scarf.
It was funny when she said she had a huge crush on Dan. She said she mailed him a beanie baby bear,
but never heard back from him. She said she saw him recently, but didn't mention the beanie baby.
Julianne was at the MTV awards--I wonder if she got a chance to chat with Emma??

Yea, I watched it and noticed how Russell Brand kept saying--Hunger Games/Twilight. I knew right then and
there, that HP was in trouble, and the voting was rigged.
Well everybody, at least we all know we don't have to waste our time next year or the year after watching
the MTV awards--it will just be Twilight/Hunger Games.
There were only 3 redeeming awards at the MTV's this year:
1. Emma's eloquent speech accepting the best cast award. She is sheer class, as always.
2. Johnny Depp playing/singing with Black Keys--poor Johnny lost his tooth.
He hates award shows, so for himto be there was asking a lot. He won the Generational Award.
3. Emma Stone's heartfelt speech on winning the Trailblazer award. She said 20 somethings are still learning and she felt
she didn't deserve the award. She then went on naming her comedy
idols-- Gilda Radner, Bill Murray, and JOHN CANDY!!!--the late Candy was one of the best comics around--and worked at Second City
in Chi-Town. He's my comic idol too!! Her speech made me all
Other than that--HP basically got robbed---as usual. It's really sad that all the hard work and talent that went into making
all 8 movies, and HP really never won any big awards.

HARRY POTTER CAST WINS @ MTV AWARDS!!!!
Emma accepted the award saying:
"I don't think I will ever accept an award on behalf of so many people," Watson said. "From Ralph Fiennes to Helena Bonham Carter to Hedwig and Dobby and all of them, this is amazing. We had over 200 cast members and I wish they could all be up here with me now. Sadly. they can't."Obviously I share this award in particular with [Daniel Radcliffe] and Rupert [Grint]," she added. "Wherever you are, I hope you're watching, and I miss you both dearly. Just, thank you. I really, really appreciate it."
Sadly, R/E didn't win best kiss for ACTING--because like Rupert said "It really wasn't acting"!!
So don't despair fellowshippers--we know it was not a REEL kiss--but a REAL kiss.
We will see them kiss again--when they announcetheir engagement.
I think Emma looked really lost without her gingerman beside her, but forever the beautiful fashionista--
she never disappoints. I'm sure her gingerman was missing her dearly too.

Ummmm...interesting....Dan was it talks 2 yrs ago
to be in a similar movie by Rogan--Jay and Seth vs The Apocalypse, but turned it down, and
the movie never materialized----until now.
Trixie, I agree with you--not a very good comic, so I don't expect much from this movie. The preview
of Jay and Seth vs The Apocalypse looks really dumb. I can see why Dan turned it down.--you can view it below the article.

I too wish David and his family all the best, and hope complete health is restored soon.
IMO Emma will drop out too in solidarity with David. No Yates/No Watson. The main purpose of her doing this movie, was
to reunite with Yates. David has his priorities in order-FAMILY FIRST. It's too
bad the writers/producers are so damn greedy.
Yates was forced to drop out of the film for personal reasons involving a family health situation. Apparently he really wanted to do the film, and even wished to postpone the project until his personal situation was taken care of, but sadly the writers and producers didn’t want to wait.They obviously never heard of PATIENCE IS A VIRTUE--ALL GOOD THINGS COME TO THOSE WHO WAIT.

Dee, what was that movie like? Night to Remember-how long is it? My friend saw Titanic in 3-D and she said she saw stuff she missed the first time.
It was 123 mins, black/white, made in 1958. Based on Walter Lord's book, directed by British director Roy Ward Baker.
Starring Kenneth More and Honor Blackman.
Since Titanic was discovered in 1985, by Dr. Robert Ballard, the sinking of it in this movie just saw it nose-dive
into the water--not break in half, as Eva Hart witnessed. Remember the James Cameron movie depicted it correctly,
as breaking in half. One of the new Titanic documentaries shows James Cameron with physicists, engineers, scientists,
recreating how the ship went down. It turns out that Cameron had too much of an angle--where Jack/Rose were diving down
with the ship. It didn't rise that far out of the water, as it was too water-logged, according to the experts.

Plant some trees, cultivate an organic garden,join a conservation group, become an activist to
promote protection, and help clean the environment--we can ALL make a huge difference.
There's many ways to get involved, and here are a few of my favorite organizations:

We're working to get GMO(Genetically Modified Organisms)'s labeled on ALL foods in ALL stores. We
all have the right to know what's in our food, and make sure it's free from all toxins, chemicals
and pesticides.
This organization is working on getting legislation to legalize hemp, so that the US farmers can grow
it, instead of importing it from Canada. Lots of health food stores, communities and organizations are
planning several great events for Hemp History Week--June 4-10 2012. Check out your cities, towns, and
communities for more information--or better yet, get your family and friends together and plan your own
event. For those of you that live in other countries, that do grow hemp, try to find out more ways to use
it, and get involved promoting it.
Hemp is literally the plant that can save the world. It used grow wild all over the country, and it was
formerly called "ditch weed". It grows over 10' tall, and amazingly it cleans the soil, which is why it's
a great rotational crop.
Before 1939, it was used for making rope, fuel, paper, fabric and food to name a few. The reason it was
vilified and banned was because Wm Randolph Hearst was angry that hemp was cutting in on his lumber business,
and rather than compete with it, he got his buddies in Congress to make it illegal. He had lots of help from
Rockefeller, Carnegie, and other elitists that didn't want it cutting in on their profits.
Henry Ford was more proactive, and actually built a car out of hemp--inside/out--and it ran on hemp fuel.

George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and Ben Franklin, all were hemp farmers, and Washington even said, "It's
every American's duty to grow hemp". I say, let's make it our duty in the 21st century.

Last Sunday, National Geographic channel had some great shows on the Titanic, that ran all day.
I watched the old A Night to Remember, which was really good. I'd never seen that one before.

Notably, while Your Voice in My Head is aiming to shoot this summer, Warner Bros. has not yet graced it with a green light. Variety suggests the studio is waiting for a worthy cast to commit first, as they plan to groom the feature for the 2013 award season, particularly prepping Best Actor accolades.
It sounds like this has not been completely cast. I don't think she's ever met her, but I would love to see Emma work with
Kate Winslet. She's a heroine and fantastic actress. I think they'd get on well together.

Next Sat/Sun-April 14-15, marks the 100th anniversary of the sinking of Titanic.
The Titanic Memorial voyage left yesterday with relatives/friends of the victims,
and they will stop at the wreck site April 14-15, where she sank to have a brief
memorial service.
I found this interview by Eva Hart, who was 7 the night the Titanic sank. Here's something
you don't hear everyday: "I saw that ship sink"--she said all these years that it split in
half, but nobody would believe her. Some words of wisdom from Eva Hart: "the whole world stood still that night". I agree
with her, "a tribute to man's arrogance". "One life is worth more than the whole ship".

Speaking of fashion......this really makes me sad.
Maybe her timing with marketing was off---due to the recession, but I think if she and Rupes
were to sell organic fabric shirts/tees, and MODEL THEM TOGETHER--and sell them at
a Whole Foods, or other health stores, she'd find her market niche.
(My major wasInt'l Marketing).
I think with People Tree and Alberta Ferretti, she was taking on too much, too soon. The
best way is to start with one article of clothing at a time......and then expand.
