  1. No. I say that the way it is presented to us gives way to a lot of questions. I try to explain it. In my country you can do under certain circumstances also "online learning" at universities. BUT: twice a year, at the end of a term, you have to show up in person at the university. You have to go through a very difficult oral exam and during that exam you have to show without any sign of doubt, that you are the author of what you handed in. You must know what was written, why it was written and you have to know in detail all the facts. All sources, you used, must be presented by you and you h
  2. Oh Ashley, you are like all the other "fans". No real answers, just insults.... It is my thing in which form and why I am a fan of Emma. I simply do not believe her and I am not convinced, that her form of "study" was really soooooooooooooooooooooo hard. She ran away from Brown after a short time and then - online learning. What a fake..... Why is she telling us such stories? Does she really thinks that nobody will ask questions about her fairytales?
  3. Well, Elena, here a short list of movies (and actors in them) which I consider it was "hard work" to film. 1. Titanic - Kate Winslet & Co. - shootings for hours in cold water 2. Fitzcarraldo - Klaus Kinski & Co. - filming in the dschungel, moving a entire ship through the dschungel (some members of the crew actually died) 3. The wizzard of Oz - Ray Bolger & Co. - the actors of the tin man, the lion and the scarcrow spent hours at the makeup-department befor actually shooting 4. African Queen - Humphrey Bogard & Co. - weeks in the dschungel and on dangerous rivers 5. Singing i
  4. Ashley, "hard work" is for me working 5 or 6 days a week on a 8 hr basis. I do not know what you do for living, but belive me, you are really "hard working" compared to the things, Emma is doing. And I am never joking. I am only asking questions. And never get real answers. Elena maybe understand me; but cbmac12 f.e. is simply not understanding my questions. Her degree - well, I have great doubts that it is really "hard work" to do such a thing by "online studying". I mean, nobody - here or on other forums - ever answered my seriously asked question, how it is possible that a professor sit
  5. Ok, cbmac12, please enlight me and tell me, what she did "work" in the first half of this year. VIP-Parties at movie premieres, VIP-treatment at graduation ceremonies and jetting around the world with her bf are not hard work. Oh, she made one foto-shoot and was 8 days on set of a movie. Phuu, she must be exhausted.
  6. Well, I will never understand why she changed her good womanly looks from 2011 against that stick thin layout.... I think she has no time to wait until she is 30 to stay relevant in the industry.... The shine of Harry Potter will not last forever..... 2011 - before 2011 - after
  7. Uuhm, she is 24, I think. She should hurry up a bit, otherwise she can play grannies and old bats in the end.......
  8. Sorry, you are right. I did not read the headline above the list. Sleepless in Seattle is also listed as "actor", not "director".
  9. Well, he directed "Harry and Sally", "The American President", "A few good men", Sleepless in Seattle", "The Wolf of Wall Street". And he is right: Emma would fit perfectly in some of Meg Ryan roles. Remember the scene with Billy Crystal in "Harry and Sally". Hillarious. But do you think, Emma could perform THIS:
  10. Mel Brooks should make a movie out of it... :-)
  11. No, I am just writing about the reality. This is nothing against Emma; she ist just unspeakable lucky in her life. And if you try to say that she behaves and lives like you or I or Andre or somebody else on this forum - it is just not true. So your sarcasm is not justified.
  12. Of course, Andre, you are totally right. Emma's universe is far, far away from the universe, we "normal" people live in. This is not genuinly her fault; she was catapulted in this universe by JK Rowling and D Heyman, who selected her for the part of Hermione. From this moment on her world was not the world of "commoners". She was pampered, had always devoted "yes"-people around her and she never came in contact with the real world of people, who have to struggle or work 8/6/365 for a living. She will never have to worry about money, she will never have to decide if the money in her wallet shou
  13. But these pictures have not the Level "A"-quality they should have for beeing printed or released. Just look on the last one: her smile is more like "uh, I hope I can stand on one feet for longer" and you see her white panty under the body, which is, I think, a mistake. These pics are not genuinly "bad", but not of the quality we are used to get by Emma. That's my point.
  14. Aaaaaand another one.... I do really hope, she has a good media-lawyer (uuups, she has. Daddy!) If the photographer really stored the pics online on his pc and was haked, he should get shot on the spot!
  15. I am her fan; and out of that I say that such creepy outtakes never should be released. And I cannot imagine, that she does not have her hands on the copyrights. The "right of the own picture" is valid also in GB. Except, of course, she sold all rights.
  16. I never said that it is Emmas fault or a mistake of her management. I asked why they do nothing against such creepy "outtakes".
  17. Official definition of a "outtake" (mind the red written words): A blooper, also known as an outtake or gag reel, is a short sequence of a film or video production, usually a deleted scene, containing a mistake made by a member of the cast or crew. I do not think that Emma is happy about her mistakes (and these pics are mistakes) to be published.
  18. Ok, but these are "outtakes". I understand outtakes as pictures, not selected for publication. They should remain with the magazine or the photographer. So why is it possible that they are posted on tumblr? What is with the copyright? I think nobody would post such official pics (out of a shoot, Emma was definitly payed for) without permission.
  19. Are those "outtakes" really authorised by her or her management? On pic one she looks like pregnant, on pic two like she has a dental problem, only pic three is a nicer one.....
  20. Well, then I hope that at least a little bit of her many talents will ever come to screen..... Up to now (since Potter) she only had little supporting roles (yes, even in Bling Ring as she confessed by herself on twitter) with not much challenges. If she is talented, it is really time to show us. Maybe it will happen now, after finishing her exhausting studies at Brown, uups, behind the laptop. Off now for three weeks in London. And this time I have two days reserved for Watson-street......
  21. Agree again... :-) But I do not think that everyone here is aware about what she has done or not done. Telling me that she can it because Dan can it, is simply..... funny (to be nice). And I do not see this as an "argument" at all. But if you read the comments here, you will find out, that I tell my point of view and get in return insulted in a very unfriendly way. Many ladies here forget that I worked 30 years in the industry and maybe I look at Ms. Watson with a different eye. But, nevertheless, good to see that sb. is here willing to discuss things in a nice and friendly way.
  22. For the second part I agree with you; the first part is not right, because if you read the comments here all her fans think that she can carry a musical; the most funny argument was, that if Daniel can it, Emma can it too, of course. All what I want to say is, that nobody can say at the moment, that she is a highlight in a musical. We can talk about that after she delivered her performance. But what I know and saw of her up to now, my opinion still is, that she would be great in a british comedy and that she would need more work with experienced actors (in private lessons or at a school) to ma
  23. You said it right, she is singing BACKGROUND. This is definitly different to solo-singing or singing a song or aria as main artist. Her dancing skills: all we ever saw was the routine she did with Fallon and the one with MIller in Perks (the same movements, btw), not counting her little hop on-hop off at the pole and the disco-"dance" in BliRi. A nice little zippel-zappel, but far away from a dance routine for a musical (if there is any dance routine in it). What I want to say is that she TRIED to do this things on a very low basis but we still have no proof that she can really DO it as a lead
