  1. ^ I agree. I can't believe this is the last time we get to do all this- have a slow but steady stream of new pictures coming out, get excited about trailers and posters and so on. It already makes me sad, I can see myself being an absolute wreck when I actually go and see the film. :(

  2. I only started watching with Series 5, and I'm making my way through the other series on 4OD. I've just finished Series 1 and it's hard to believe it's even the same show. Aside from the obvious of all the characters being different, the first series was just so much better than the fifth one. Regarding the characters, I think Cassie is lovely, I love Chris and Angie, and I was thrilled to find that Josie Lawrence played Sid's mother in his episode, she's one of my favourite actresses!

I love Effy too. I haven't actually seen her breakdown episodes yet but I've read about them, and I've had depression on and off for the last few years so I know I'll be able to relate to them when I do get round to watching them , which will be quite refreshing given all the crazy things they do which leave me thinking "I never did that when I was seventeen!".

Going back to Series 5, I just have to add that I really like Dakota Blue Richards as an actress after seeing her in Dustbin Baby, so I liked Franky on sight purely because Dakota plays her, and I have to admit to being a huge Minky fan. :D

  3. The main problem I have is that I don't understand why a God would have created homosexuality in the first place if he really thought it was such a terrible sin. I've become interested in religion recently and a lot of it does make sense to me, so I'm seriously wondering about converting to something, but I really can't get my head around that. Also, I'm bisexual so I was wondering- what happens if you're religious and bisexual? Do you have to think half of yourself is wrong and sinful, or is there a way around that?

Sorry if I sound ignorant but I genuinely don't know how this works and I don't know anybody religious to ask things like this. I've been brought up atheist to the point that we've never even really talked about religion, and the whole do-you-have-to-think-homosexuality/bisexuality-is-wrong thing is actually the main stumbling block for me because I really don't want to have to think that.

I hope nobody minds me asking!

  4. I've only read Pride & Prejudice so far, but I have copies of Emma, Northangar Abbey and Sense & Sensibility, which I will hopefully get round to reading soon. I really enjoyed Pride & Prejudice (and loved the film too) so I'm hoping the others will be as good.

  5. It's a brilliant film, one of my favourites even though I've only seen it once!

I wish Geoffrey Rush had won the Best Supporting Actor Oscar, though. I'm very happy for the awards the film did win especially Colin Firth getting Best Actor, but I felt that Geoffrey Rush was just as good as Colin Firth, if not better, so it's a shame he was overlooked.

  6. I've seen Girls Aloud, The Saturdays and Rammstein in concert.

I've met Stephanie Beacham (from Dynasty and Bad Girls, to name a couple) three times now, and the third time she remembered me and I got a hug. :D I adore her so it's amazing that she knows my name!

  7. Hi everyone, I used to be Rachel on the old forums! You can still call me Rachel here if you want. :)

I chose my new display name in honour of one of my favourite TV characters, and also because I like the name Danielle more than my own name. I'm 20 years old, fifteen days younger than Emma, and I've been a fan of Emma (and Harry Potter generally) since I was 11. Don't really know what else to say, so hi! *waves*

  8. I was Rachel. My username is still Rachel but my display name is now DanielleJones, in tribute to one of my favourite TV characters, Danielle Jones from EastEnders.

  9. My three favourite characters are Hermione, McGonagall and Dumbledore. I liked Hermione from the word go just because she was the girl (I was a bit sexist at 11, obviously! :P ) and she liked reading. McGonagall I started to really love after reading OOTP, then I started shipping her with Dumbledore and decided he was great too. :D
