  1. I also think the scant replies and posts are because of the new forum change. A lot of people's accounts (like my own) got deleted or whatever, and they might be upset, because they had posted a lot, or they're just lazy. It's just so strange that there are only two pages for the premiere on the forum, not used to so few people on the forums during a big event like a premiere.

People had to start a new account here because this is a different forum. The forum on emmawatson.net is still there, and no accounts have been deleted. Topics, yes. Most of the topics from the past 2, almost 3 years, were deleted, but it was not the mods who did that. That's a big part of why these forums were started.

And I agree that with the Deathly Hallows I'm really starting to feel the end. Next summer will be much worse.

  2. i remember back in the day the premiere threads would go on for 40 pages lol. such a shame

Yeah, people couldn't wait for the first sighting of Emma, and then the first pictures to appear on Getty. And very quickly people would be sporting new avatars and sigs. There were the usual arguments about her hair, her clothes, her shoes. Good times.

  3. I'm really surprised that more people haven't come in an joined in with this thread discussion :o:( One of the biggest Emma events and we are only up to 2 pages.

Yeah, rather disappointing actually. There quite likely are only a few big events left. The US premiere, and then the premieres next summer. If she does continue acting there will be more premieres, but I doubt anything will ever be as big as the HP events.

  4. I believe those are poppy flower pins, worn for Rememberance Day. Here's a cut and paste from the web.

Remembrance Day, also known as Poppy Day is a day to commemorate the sacrifice of veterans and civilians in World War I, World War II, and other wars. The poppy emblem was chosen because of the poppies that bloomed across some of the worst battlefields of Flanders in World War I, their red color an appropriate symbol for the bloodshed.

During Poppy Day it has become a tradition to wear an artificial poppy, be this a lapel pin or just a plastic poppy which are usually sold by the British Legion.

  5. As Emma and HP fans, it may be hard to believe that there are people that don't know who she is. But they are out there. And probably quite a few. Now it might be difficult to have never heard her name, or seen a picture of her, but unless someone has an interest in Harry Potter, or fashion magazines, it might not stay in their mind. For example, I hear the name Demi Lovato a lot because I read news about Emma on celebrity sites. She's apparently quite popular, but I don't know what she does. Maybe a singer? If you showed me a picture of her and someone else, I couldn't pick her out. Unless the other one was a guy. The point is, I don't know anything about her because I have no interest. If I had never become a fan of Harry Potter, I doubt I would know who Emma was either.

She's been in this for 10 years. Don't believe she's so naive and gullible.

  6. Some of you are getting too hung up on the Daily Mail and the rumor. Let it go. I realize that the Mail is not a beacon of journalistic integrity. The real point of my post was the similarity of this guy and Obama...and also to add a little levity to the boards, or should I say boreds -heh heh.

Well, it would be a little more humorous if the guy actually looked like Obama. Other than short dark hair I don't see much resemblance.

  7. Let's see, I started as dookdookdook
