    If you change the skin. On the bottom is a field where you can select all the skins.

     

    Correct, there is one banner that matches the color scheme of each skin. To see the other banners you'll have to check out the other skins.

    November Calendar Vote

    Every month we have a calendar competition on the main site. Fans submit their entries and then in the last few days of the month fans choose which will be displayed on the site for the next month. I know there are many talented graphics makers on the forum and you are all welcome to compete. The deadline for entering the November competition is passed, but we will begin the December competition in a couple weeks.

     

    Now however, it is time to vote for the November calendar! I hope many of you will take the time to help select the next calendar.

     

    Remember, you only get to vote one time, but you can vote for more than one calendar. And please don't talk about which calendar is yours. Let's keep the competition fair. You can talk about your calendar after the winner is announced.

     

    Please make sure you write your choices in the order you like them. Your favorite should be first, then next favorite, etc.

     


       
    1. View the calendars here. Click on the thumbnails to see a larger preview image. Take your time, make sure you scroll all the way to the end and check out all the calendars.
    2. Choose your favorite 5 calendars, and write down their numbers in order, from best to 5th place. You don't have to choose 5, you can vote for just one if you like, but you can vote for 5.
    3. Send your vote in an email to emmawatson.contest@gmail.com or in a PM to me on the forums to dookdookdook.

    I have a question to the Admins :

     

    What do you think you have more than the forum emmawatson.net ? Because the latter was quite complete, and it's age show that it is valuable.

     

    Your site Emma-Watson.net is great, but you now decide to work on a place that is already filled. Emma fans have their habits and you want them to change them. Do I mistake ?

     

    Why creating this forum ? You wanted to control both sites I guess. Is there an other reason ?

    Yes, you could say we wanted control. Control of what happens to it. On emmawatson.net we had none. We had a banner competition this past summer and the voting ended 2 months ago. The winning banner is still not put on the site because we can't do that. There is actually very little we can do there.

     

    Yes, there is a history there, and valuable posts and memories. But everything before January 2008 when the forums were restarted is gone. And most of the topics since then are gone too, deleted. That is not how we want to run the forum.

    Well, abandoned isn't the right word. I think it was more a case of they thought Jo was doing such a good job that it would be better to just link with her site. But I think that was back before I was a regular visitor to the forums, or the site, so I'm not sure.

     

    I too hope these forums will be without problems and last a long time. And that people will be able to look back at how it started, their first post, etc. years from now. I'm a bit obsessive about trying to save everything. :P

    emmawatson.net did have it's own site for a while, back in 2003 or 4 I think. But that was sort of abandoned and a sort of partnership began between the 2 sites.

     

    And there 4 skins available. There is a dropdown in the lower left corner.
