  1. There are quite a few that have the graduation ceremonies in June, but Elle (and virtually all magazines) could do a better job editing and fact checking. On the other hand, most people wouldn't think a minor thing like that of any importance, and certainly wouldn't say Emma is lying.

  2. It's a large event that a lot of people will be attending.

A lot of random guests will be there, and they'll know she's there too.

    She probably won't blend in.

Perhaps, but my interpretation of Emma's comments was that a lot of people told her it was impossible for her to finish school and graduate (like a poster above who I won't mention). I think she's talking about finishing school and graduating. Graduation and doing the walk is symbolic of her accomplishing what she set wanted to do, what she's been working for these many years. She always talked about how important education was to her, and she has proven it. I don't think she's concerned about standing out.

  3. "a official statement of 'her team'" that you read in a tabloid? I think you're the one who likes to believe "half true/half false stories".

Personally I don't trust anything unless I hear it from Emma's mouth (in a video) or her twitter or other reliable sources. I consider reliable sources to be like studio press releases, twitter posts from Aronofsky or other directors/producers, things like that where you know you're hearing it from a responsible party, and not someone making up something for internet clicks.

  4. There you go again, taking a quote out of context. When she talked about quotes taken out of context, she was talking about the media reporting on her interview, not the article in the magazine. She said if people read the whole interview it is different than the cherry picked quotes the media used.

As far as her personal relationships, Emma doesn't talk about that, so everything you read is from "sources". I don't believe the story that a rep confirmed anything. So, anything you know about Emma's relationships is as reliable as the tabloids you read it in.

There's already a topic somewhere about the shoes.

And as far as the opinion in german forums, I doubt many have actually seen the film. And if they are filled with "fans" like you I wouldn't be surprised they think the movie is "crap"

  5. Emma yesterday during a interview in Berlin: "My mother cried when she saw me as 'Ila' on the big screen...."

    Uuuuhm, I can understand her.....

What a waste of money and talent....

Way to take a misquote out of context.

"It was amazing to watch for the first time, because I hadn't seen the animals come onto the ark. I'd never seen the watchers. I hadn't seen a lot of Russel's scenes where he was just on his own. I was really overwhelmed. My mum was crying. It was such an emotional experience, I can't really explain it. It's really intense. I'm so proud of my performance in it, and I'm just really proud to have been a part of it."

  6. Emma has talked about being a shy person, and I think that shows when she's in front of an audience like this.

I also wonder if she and Chris weren't told right before they went on stage something like 'We're running late. Forget the script we had for you, you've got 5 seconds to announce the category.' Emma just announces the category, Chris laughs about something, then they roll clips. No banter. No jokes.

  7. Apparently Emma left because the project was taking too long(which is true. She had already left the project once before and later returned. Not to mention Emma probably wants to finish up her schooling to get her degree and has Noah promotion coming up.

Yes, that's what Emma Forrest said about it.

@emmawatsonnet Yes, she would have been great and it was a shame she left but I understand it was just taking too long.

  8. Ouch. Looks like the whole project is dead.

Are you still going to direct Your Voice in My Head?

GREGORINI:  That movie is not actually happening.  It’s all new to me because I haven’t been in the director-for-hire position before.  It’s all a new experience.  But apparently, it happens all the time, so I best get used to it.

I asked Emma Forrest about what Gregorini said. "She means it's not happening with her." was her reply, so sounds like it's still on, just not with Gregorini, and unfortunately apparently not Emma. "Same producer, financier, different director and actress."

  9. I don't think Jo was ever secretive about her first name, but I meant her username here is now Jo. that's Jo with a "." at the end.

You were mostly before my time. I believe I visited the forum occasionally in 2004 but didn't register until 2005 so I didn't recognize your name.

Sadly, I think there are very few members left from that time, and I don't think they visit often.

@KS987, technically you could say it's a new forum, but I see it like your family moving to a new house. It's still the same family, just a different address. So, to me this is still the same forum.

  10. Welcome to the forum. That goes back a long time, probably before I was even a member here. What was your username?

Enigma has been gone a long time. Scabbers9 is Jo., who began and ran the main website for a while, and more recently worked on Emma's official site. She hasn't been here for a few months, but tends to come and go. She may show up again. I don't recall a fleur_delacour so probably before my time.

There are some members who have been here a long time, but don't know if from that long ago.
