  1. heyyyy now being from boston i take offense to that :P we dont ALL sound like that! and if you're gonna make fun of the boston accent, gotta get it right - put those H's in there "pahhhk" "haaavahd" xD

oh and add extra r's onto words like "idea" and "pizza" - they then become "idear" and "pizzer" and confuse the crap out of people. xD

But you guys don't say wicked, do you? That's a Rhode Island thing isn't it? As in "From Providence, Boston is wicked fah." :P

  2. Seeker since the snitch is worth the most points and the seeker ends the game. It makes all the other positions seem kinda useless. You could get rid of all the other positions and just have two seekers and the result would be pretty much the same.

  3. I like Superman as well, so you're not alone. I really liked Superman and Superman II. I have the Richard Donner cut of Superman II and it's interesting to see his take on it. I think his replacement, Richard Lester, made it too goofy and jokey. I believe that the Salkinds firing Donner is what led to the movies getting worse. Superman III and IV aren't even worth the time it takes to watch them.

The thing that I think is interesting about Superman is that he's completely different than any other super hero. All other super heroes wear masks to hide their true identity, to hide who they are in the daylight when they're just a normal average person. Superman wears the guise of a normal average person to hide who he really is. For Superman, the super hero is not the disguise, it's who he really is.

I can't believe they didn't get Tom Welling to play Superman in the reboot movie. I think he's definitely paid his dues and deserves the shot to put on the blue tights. It's a travesty really.

  4. well I Am sorry for not knowing everything

I'm sorry, I really didn't mean it that way. It did come off kinda condescending didn't it? Sorry for that. I was really just trying to drop some knowledge. Peace? :)

    Rush

A Farewell to Kings had some good stuff on it but I didn't feel it was as strong as 2112. Hemispheres was okay but I feel they really came into their own on Permanent Waves. Permanent Waves through Power Windows is my favorite Rush era although I do enjoy the early Rush albums as well.

  5. Just be really smooth and pretend your texting, but really take a picture... I do it all the time  lol

Wish I'd thought of that. I'm so sorry I couldn't post a picture. You guys would be blown away. I mean this lady couldn't have looked more like her if she were going to a costume party dressed as Rita. She had the hair, the glasses, the same style and color of clothes etc. She was spot on. I half expected her to take out a quick quotes quill. :P

  6. Not to rain on your parade but a fan letter will most likely go unread. They'll have a publicist respond with a form letter and maybe an autographed picture. Which, if that's all you want is fine. Now days with them having official sites, twitter and facebook those are the best ways to keep up with them. This is how they interact with their fans in this day and age. But just look at Emma's facebook account. All those things people post on her page, do you think she reads all of those? No. So as a fan you're probably not gonna get a personal response out of any of the Potter stars.

Sorry to be such a downer but thought you'd wanna know.

  7. it is a one hit wonder

    I saw it On VH1 50 great 1 hit wonders :D

Are you talking about Brick House by the Commodores? They had many hits if that's who you're talking about.

    Rush

    Anybody a fan?

They're a Canadian power trio famous for their prog rock. I really like their older stuff but haven't listened to much past Hold Your Fire. I believe that's when record companies started mixing all their rock music records to sound LOUD! I didn't like those album mixes and thus lost interest.

    My favorite album is

I watched Beyond the Lighted Stage and really liked it. It was a nice in depth look into Rush. They've been together so long that the documentary had a lot of ground to cover.

I saw R30 on TV a couple of years ago. Geddy is not able to hit the same notes he once did. I suppose age has something to do with it although I'm sure the smoking doesn't help. Still extremely talented musicians though.
