A while back Emma hinted at guest editing for a magazine on twitter, and now she's officially confirmed it will be Wonderland magazine, once again on twitter.

I think some people are having issues with twitter regarding following accounts. Emma's account had previously followed two random accounts for a bit recently before she unfollowed them. People thought she was hacked. It seems this was another case of that.

Great news.
Emma seemed like she really wanted to do this film and was probably disappointed that she had to drop it a while back, so I'm happy that she was able to return and will now be doing the movie.I hope she had a great summer, because she's going to have a busy fall/winter.

I've noticed Emma's been using Twitter a lot more recently. I remember back when she thought she wasn't going to use it often. Adductive, the Internet is.

It's just EcheeWahWah, a pathetic troll and horrible person who constantly goes on this same rant based on false tabloid rumors he/she believes are 100% true and quotes they take extremely out of contest or use from years ago. This piece of trash even made his/her own blog of this nonsense (which is the one he/she is talking about and is shilling/promoting). I'm kind of bummed out about people telling me not to be sarcastic. For the most part there's nothing sarcastic about this thread, it's about Emma's education.
Yet the topic of this title is "Emma Watson to star in Bling Ring", and it's posted in the Emma Movie Roles section. Either you guys are posting in the wrong topic, or you are just simply derailing yet another thread with this same old crap.
Let's get back on topic please.

Emma's confirmed she won't be doing Fifty Shades of Grey, so that's the end of this story hopefully. It's funny how her answer was similar to this topic's title. She probably was sick of this rumor and the drama surrounding it

Oh, I just realised I've still got about a thousand notification e-mails in my archive! So, let's see...
I registered on 3 August 2007.
I received my first personal message on 9 August by someone called Perspective~. Subject: "Hi". The first member I clearly remember having contact with was Enso. On 29 August, he sent me a message titled "yo". I then apparently had an extensive exchange with someone called ~*M i e z Z*~ about her not being able to access the then brand-new official website, and with au naturel, who was from the Netherlands if I remember correctly. 4 September saw the first message from pealegs ("Re:'ello"), who was actually one of the guesses in my first post in this topic. On 5 September, I got a message from KS987 - he might still be around. Eric (7 September) I remember well. I think he was going to be doctor.
Then, on 14 September, I got a message from Little Dave ("WB"), and he's not only still around (albeit occasionally), but he's still got the same username! 16 September: Maestro (no idea who that was). It wasn't until 27 September that my conversations with Neve started ("Re:Time"). 26 October saw the beginning of our little biopic movie trailer project "A Little Bit of Magic" (Subject: "weird, weird, WEIRD idea"). I didn't actually receive a message from Jo (then called Jo_) until 4 December (Subject: "heeey").

I Merely asked for suggestions.
If I had said "Emma will definately anwser your questions, and she will anwser at least 50"
Then I would understand all of this whinging.
What I don't understand is people throwing their toys out of the pram for something that was NEVER promised, and some questions WERE answered anyway.
Oh and Dook, please feel free to close this thread.
If it does ever happen where the possibility of questions to Emma comes up again, I will simply PM the members that UNDERSTAND this whole process and ask for their suggestions.
It will save this whole ridiculous scenario coming up again.
Nah, don't close the thread just because of one or two people who won't stop complaining about the same things over and over again. Just tell them to knock it off because you've already addressed them repeatedly.

I believe Emma's back in school right now, so it will probably be a while longer before Jo is able to do another Q&A with her. Her schedule is looking like there's not going to be much rest period, since shortly after her school year ends she'll probably be promoting her upcomings films such as Bling Ring and was also scheduled to be filming Beauty this year. She's hoping to graduate this year though, so while this year looks like it'll be a busy one maybe after that things will be much easier once she has only her career to focus on.

I do have a question though(may have already asked it before but I'll ask again just to be sure): Years ago(back when Emma's site was with Lightmaker before switching to great fridays), you mentioned that you had videos of Emma that you planned on putting on the site, but it ultimately didn't work out. If you remember what I am talking about, would you be able to post those videos in the future? If not(either Emma wants to keep them private or you guys are simply not allowed or able to post them), then that's fine, and if the reasons are confidential then that's fine with me as well. I'm just wondering if you remember what I'm referring to or if you already answered it.

To try and return this topic to it's original purpose, I've noticed that in the Harry Potter filmography section, for each film's pictures, it seems there's some mix ups. For example in the PS/SS section, there are two pics from the film, but the other is from Chamber of Secrets. And in Chamber of secrets, it has pictures from Prisoner of Azkaban, etc. At least this is how it appears for me. Does this happen for you or is it just me?

Well, it's not down in the sense that it's disappeared entirely, since that is a maintenance page that has obviously been set up, rather than a default "this site does not exist" that your browser will give you.
So it's an internal issue.It's back up now but the ads are still there, so either it was something else or the attempt to remove them didn't work.

Emma's official site is currently down. Hopefully it's just so they could remove the ads from the site and there's not an actual problem.

Due to public interest and the fact that Emma has tweeted this year for Christmas only three words for her fans, here is a repetition of her Christmas message from 2009 (at least 32 seconds for us).
Is every single topic on this forum going to turn into an argument with you whining about Emma not meeting one of your many demands and you being snarky while talking down to whomever calls you out on it? I bet if she doesn't post anything on her birthday you are going to complain that the birthday girl didn't give YOU a gift, as if it's YOUR birthday.
We didn't ask Emma to send those video messages. She made them on her own because she had enough time to do so and probably figured she could give her fans a special surprise. Just like she doesn't ask us for birthday and christmas projects, but we make them anyway because we want to give her a gift. She hasn't been able to do that since she has a lot more projects on her plate, and this month alone she spent a few days in Africa for CamFed shortly before Christmas. And even the Christmas video message "tradition" isn't really that since she only did it a couple of times(most of her video messages are for her birthday). Her actual Christmas tradition is that she has a mini-Christmas section on her official site(which she had this year) and usually a written message wishing everyone a Merry Christmas(which she also did this year.

I just want to check that you know...
Red Carpet premieres & Press junkets, Chat shows etc.. All of these things are part of being an actor, they are written into your contract as things you do to help promote a movie.
Okay, with me so far?
Getting your photo taken whilst out walking your dog, eating dinner with your friends or just getting out of your car are NOT written into your contract, you are NOT paid for that and it is NOT part of your job.
Can you see the difference?
If you were a doctor, would you really want to drive home from(sometimes a long grueling day at work) and have your photo taken by a group of men the very second you get into AND out of your car? No. Emma should never have to get used to this, she is not like Katie 'Jordan' Price or Kerry Katona that craves this sort of attention. She has had to get used to it more over the years yes, but she shouldn't have to get used to it - this is extra unwanted baggage of being a pretty, young actress.
So WHY should she smile and hence then PRETEND that she is enjoying this treatment she is getting? Just like the rest of us, she just wants to do her job and go home. What is the purpose of seeing pictures of her getting in and out of her car? nobody gains anything from it, yes in a way it gets Emma publicity - but it's not publicity that Emma seeks, she doesn't want it.
It's not just Emma either obviously.
This whole Leveson enquiry in the UK was about how the press have gone too far, not just with the treatment of celebrities, but also the treatment of everyday people, such as the parents of a murdered schoolgirl.
Paparrazzi and sections of the press are intrusive and vile, and i hope David Cameron has the balls to do something about it after this damning report.
This. I've been saying for years that Emma shouldn't have to put up with this crap, with the response being the same old excuses people having been giving for this behavior. I'm happy to see that more people are comng out seeing the problem with this. Even though I'm not from the UK, I signed the petition.

You can take courses online without having to attend the school itself. I figured this is what Emma has been doing when she hasn't been able to attend university directly. She just hasn't mentioned it since she decided to keep her education private, probably as a result of the tabloids making up bullying rumors and paparazzi occassionally sneaking onto campus. This is why Emma keeps her personal life private, as she decided to share this one thing with the public, and they used it for that nonsense. It's her education, not theirs. I'm glad to see she's been able to continue her studies.
