  1. Deathly Hallows was amazing and I think it's the best film so far. I got stuck with a terrible crowd though. Bunch of people there who came across as jerkasses who never read the books and just whined about how "they didn't accomplish anything. Why did they split it into, like, three movies" while whispering stupid comments the whole time(yet they thought the Kung Fu Panda 2 teaser was a masterpiece. Go figure). There was also a baby crying for a good while. I really prefer watching films at home in peace.

Emma gave her best performance as Hermione yet and stole the show. She was just extremely fun to watch and I really hope she continues acting, because she is amazing. The torture scene was painful for me to watch. :sob: Let's just say I would have done a lot more than "punch". Definitely an extremely powerful scene that affected the cast, crew, and the audiences. Rupert Grint was hilarious as Ron once again, but he also delivered in his more serious and darker scenes. Hell, the acting in general was one of the movie's strong points, as I felt pretty much everyone did a great job. The trio have great chemistry and it showed here.

It's hard to list the scenes since I enjoyed most of them: Hermione erasing her parent's memories(very sad and i thought it was cool that they used actual younger pictures of Emma to portray Hermione in the family pictures), the Seven Potters scene had a nice change with Hedwig having a better death, which also gave a better reason for Voldemort figuring out the real Harry, the Three Brothers scene, the hilarious Ministry scene, the aforementioned Malfoy Manor, etc. It was just a great movie throughout.

  2. I don't think anyone would understand me, so Emma wouldn't have to worry about that. :P.

I am assuming that Jo is still the webmistress of Emma's site and is the one writing the updates, as there has been nothing to say otherwise. I think the reason we don't hear from her often is because she's busy with things from her own personal life, as that was the reason for her leaving(or at least reducing her time on EW.net) on other occasions. I could be wrong though.

I doubt Emma ever glanced the forums though. She probably looked at the main site since it just reported news about her rather than voice opinions, which would probably be weird for her.

  3. Emma looks gorgeous as ever. So they played ping pong on the last day, eh? I wonder who the winner was? :P

It was interesting to hear that she changed her major from English to History, but it's not that surprising considering that a couple of her film roles take place during specific decades of the 20th century.

  4. I think Emma just got tired of having to deny it constantly, since it's obvious the media never pays attention to anything she actually says unless they can twist it to mean something else. Had these guys actually done their research they would have known that Emma and Craig have denied it numerous times, but instead chose to believe the tabloid stories as fact. Notice how the interviewer just comes out and asks about her "boyfriend" and "George" without even asking her if it was true in the first place.

  5. Well, my laptop recently broke down, which is a pain in the ass. For the past couple of days it was moving slower and made a buzzing noise and then finally just failed me last night and I was unable to use it since.

  6. I'm surprised we didn't really see them talk with fans or walk the red carpet. Hopefully next year they do that.

But god does Emma look beautiful. It's hard to believe that we will probably only see the Harry Potter cast together at two more premieres next year and that's it. It's really going to sink in once the US premiere of DH2 comes around.

Here's another picture of Emma from the premiere.

  7. I think Emma looks beautiful no matter how long or short her hair is.

I also think it's time we move on from this debate. It's a haircut. She has had it for a couple of months now and has made numerous media appearances with it. I would think people would have gotten used to it by now but apparently not.

  8. Yeah, rather disappointing actually. There quite likely are only a few big events left. The US premiere, and then the premieres next summer. If she does continue acting there will be more premieres, but I doubt anything will ever be as big as the HP events.

It's also surprising since Emma has been expanding beyond Harry Potter and even beyond acting. She even has her own line with People Tree(and another line on the way apparently), and yet the forums aren't nearly as active as they were a couple of years ago. It's really bizarre.

  9. Oh, I managed to catch her brother and mum eventually :D and it was so cool. Now just going through all the videos :)

I'm really surprised that more people haven't come in an joined in with this thread discussion :o:( One of the biggest Emma events and we are only up to 2 pages.

I'm a bit surprised as well. Normally when a premiere comes up the topic is massive. This is the UK premiere for the first part of the final movie of the Harry Potter franchise, and yet it's only two pages.

There are some new interviews posted on the EW.net main site.
