1. I wished she updated her facebook/twitter more often but I know she's really busy. At least we can keep in touch with her.

I have actually been surprised with how often Emma updates her facebook and twitter. This month hasn't had that much activity but the previous months since she joined she updated quite a bit. Then again that's probably before her schoolwork really started to get difficult and kick in. Maybe we'll hear from her more when her classes finish and she's on break.

  2. Hi, my name is Kevin. I am 23 years old and live in Massachusetts. I am a huge fan of Emma Watson. I think she is a beautiful, down to earth girl and a great actress.

Some of you might know or remember me, others probably have never heard of me before. Let's hope that the new forums turn out to be even better than the previous ones

  3. The only official word so far was that Emma had been in talks for this movie, as was mentioned on her official site a while back. Stephen Chbosky supposedly confirmed it during an appearance at SRU, however there is no direct quote from him so we aren't really sure if he did or not. However Emma mentioned something interesting in a recent interview with Cinemania Magazine, according to the translations:

What is going to be your first project after Harry Potter?

I’m contemplating many things but I can’t talk about them yet. I’m gonna try to film something in the winter holidays.

It's been mentioned that Perks of Being a Wallflower starts filming in December, so this might be what she is referring to, or it could be My Week With Marilyn which she has been said to be in according to it's press release. It might also be something we haven't heard about. I really wish Emma were allowed to make confirmations though.

    And it's Wallflower, not Wildflower.

  4. Welcome to the forums. I'm only a year older than you.

But you should refrain from using the term "mudblood". There might be some muggleborn wizard users on this forum so they might be offended. :P

  5. It's her signature role, no doubt about that. ;) But as you said, this will all be over much too soon and I'm excited to see what projects she'll take on next.

She'll always be "my Hermione", though. ;) True, we never saw anyone else play that part, but I think she was an excellent choice.

She'll always be "my Hermione" as well. Personally I hope they don't remake the movies though, at least not for a long time.

  6. According to the press release for this film, Emma is part of the cast, playing a character named Lucy and apparently it's a smaller role than her previous ones so she won't have to film as much and should have an easier time squeezing in filming in her schedule. However, surprisingly we have yet to hear from Emma or her reps regarding this role, despite her being mentioned in the press release. I assume that if the information were incorrect we would have heard something by now, so I assume she is in the movie. Hopefully we hear more about this role soon.

  7. As we all know, Hermione Granger is Emma's first role and is what introduced the majority of us to her. She has been playing this role for a decade and has grown from a cute little girl into the beautiful woman she is today. However with the first part of Deathly Hallows coming out in the very near future and the second part, and final movie, comes out next year, the end of an era is approaching. So I decided to make a topic in order to discuss the role that started it all for Emma and her fanbase. I put a spoiler warning since this does discuss the movies so plot points will most likely be brought up.
