If I spell my name as my parents named me it's just the name of a flower. Now it's line in Spanish .
No one seem to be really sure of what Maria means though. Rebellious, something with the sea, loved, strong, gracious, sorrow, mistress, etc. I don't really know.

Thank you =)
My favourite poems are by Sappho who lived on the island Lesbos around 600 BC. They haven't find a complete poem, only fragments. No one really knows much about her, but her poems are filled with love and some call her the first love poet. I use to read the fragments in Swedish. I love the feeling in them, but I haven't find it in the English translations yet
**
What country maiden charms thy heart,
However fair, however sweet,
Who has not learned by gracious Art
To draw her dress around her feet?
**
By the cool water the breeze murmurs, rustling
Through apple branches, while from quivering leaves
Streams down deep slumber.
**
Who made me gifts and honoured me?
**
To you, fair maidens, my mind does not change.
**
Turn to me, dear one, turn thy face,
And unveil for me in thine eyes, their grace.
**
I think men will remember us even hereafter.
**
With my two arms, I do not aspire to to touch the sky.
**
Now like a mountain wind the oaks o'erwhelming,
Eros shakes my soul.
**
The sinking moon has left the sky,
The Pleiades have also gone.
Midnight comes--and goes, the hours fly
And solitary still, I lie.
The Moon has left the sky,
Lost is the Pleiads' light;
It is midnight,
And time slips by,
But on my couch alone I lie.

I don't really write poems, these are just some of the latest I've written, but poetry is not my thing. And I'm not a translator either, all of these are written in Swedish originally
a little thought
You fill me up
I can't think, you're in my head
You're in my ears, I can't hear
You want me to shut my mouth
but I can't!
You fill me up.
I can't meet your requirement.
me against the world
It was raining
The World and I drank tea
But the World wanted coffee.
The World looked at me
I drank in silence
The World said nothing
We both knew where we were going
"You and I don't belong together"
little brother close his eyes
Big brother sees you
you don't stand a chance
Hide here
I will protect you
You will not be seen
Little brother close his eyes
do what you like
Don't hide here
I don't want to protect you
Not without cause
You need to be seen
Big brother sees you
Little brother close his eyes
What do you want?
observation
it's grey
my heart is hiding
the warmth is hiding
no, it's too early
it's grey
water fill the earth
they pull dead dogs in leashes
the clouds say nothing
i observe
from a safe distance
i see what you don't see
what you don't understand
when the wind is cold
but the sun still shining
they stand there
sun in the eyes
reflections
they stand together
the ocean in front of them
roar darkly
hide more than they know
they turn around and walk away
the ocean gives and the ocean takes
they go together
leave what it took
she look at him
he take her hand
they go together
away from the ocean
from the salt air
the seagulls cries
and the waves dance

I just started watching it, we have seen 7 episodes. I can't say it's good. The story is weak, the characters are kind of pale. I can't feel with anyone yet, and I think that I should start doing it after 7 episodes.
I hate Damon, I think Elena is just like Meredith Grey from Grey's anatomy - terribly annoying and vacillating (is that a word?) The best characters are the little ones, Catherine, Matt, Bonnie and Vicki.
But still, I'm stuck. I want to watch more of it. Hate being obsessed with tv-shows.

Arie: I don't say there should only be a Palestian state and I understand both sides has done wrong, but you can't say just because Palestine do wrong too doesn't mean Israel are acting great. It's terrible what Israel are doing when they take over Palestine land, and they have done it for 60 years. That's all I'm saying. And on the other side Palestine do terrible things when they're bombing Israel and whatever they do.
What I don't understand is why there can't be 2 states. Why is Israel a country but not Palestine? I think both should have rights, no one should need to fight for it.

I love Sherlock and I really lookin forward to the next season. Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman are great together.

Of course Palestine should have the right to be a country. What would the americans say if someone decided to put a country in the middle of USA, and that country later took over more and more? I mean, no one would just agree with that. If you look at maps of Israel since the foundation in the 40's, no one can deny they have take a lot of the Palestine land.
But on the other hand I heard a Palestine guy, maybe from Fatah or some other political organisation, interviewed at the news and he said that a membership in the UN could be negative for Palestine, because maybe it just was a way for the leader to put the conflict problem on UN or something like that. Stay on his position maybe. This guy was not all pro this anyhow, I guess there are two side of the same coin.
But if not a member of the UN, I still think Palestine should have the right to be a own country.

Haha it's 2 verses
I like it, a little boring but still a bit grand.

I don't really know what's the originals and covers. But Jeff Buckley's Hallelujah is better than Cohen's, if he now did the original.
Eva Cassidy's Fields of gold is amazing.
Nouvelle Vague do some pretty good covers too. Dancing with myself and Ever fallen in love are good.

I thought the last one was really creepy. I hate hotel corridors. They do a great job with the spooky episodes.
