  1. Although, I can't understand why she insists on wearing black (+ sometimes white) all the time. (Ha, I should ask myself the same question 'cause I always tell me myself I'm going to wear something colorful, but every time, I end up wearing black as it just feels safe and comfortable.)

I'd say that it's because it's a classy colour (in France it's the most classy colour, I heard that in the USA it's beige, but i'm not sure of that).

Emma was quite nervous in the beginning, she was relying on her notes too much and sometimes she didn't give straight answers to the asked questions (which irritated me a bit), but that's understandable.

    I thought that too !

I really liked when she talked about woman having a child, which leads to work difficulties sometimes. I'm really into the idea that a child should be raised by two people, not only the mother, that the father should have the same rights as woman, the same time off work to raise the kids. As my femisit side grew stronger, I got very angry (not a good thing though...) about the patriarchal society and the patriarchal familly type, with the old standards "woman do the child work, that's why they get the off work, not the man". Men should be more included.

PS : sorry sorry for the "mother+father" type familly I'm writing about, I should have included the same sex parents, because I'm 100% supportive of them too, for them to have the same rights. I guess it's the same problem, if you didn't bear the child, you just can't have the time to raise him/her (I'm talking about a time off complitely paid, here in france it's 3 months for the mother, 11 days the father)

  2. Yeaaahhh :D

I guess it's because it's been a long time that I didn't "see her" (live on a video, with new material, also being natural and not just answering the same questions for a press junket about a movie) but I felt so joyful watching this video :)

I'll watch the live stream !

  3. Ashley, She recommended UNJUNKED candies, supporting LANDFILL HARMONIC, PACIFIC RIM, THE FAULT IN OUR STARS, and some other things on twitter. Those are just from the top of my head. These aren't recent. Most of her recent tweets are about heforshe.

I saw Pacific Rim really recently, and i was quite disapointed.

As my sister said : sometimes if feels like a great movie with great material (the robots are amazing!), and sometimes it feels like watching a low budget TV drama.

  4. Sometimes, Emma posts on her twitter page books she liked, movies she liked...

Are you influenced by her choices : do you then read/watch what she recommends ?

I must say I think sometimes that I should read what she says is good to read (because literature was part of her studies, i think she knows better than I do !) but I never really take the time to buy/rent what she advises.

  5. I stopped eating meat like a year ago. I don't really miss it, but because I still live with my parents, I have hard times to adjust and eat differetly (eat all the veggies that I need), so for now I'm not sure I have the right amount of vitamines and protein.

I'm soooo looking forward to the day I'll leave the house. My plans are to leave in september, and to have then an healthy diet.

  6.  I want to shoot the dance in long takes and wide so you can really see the dancers, and that definitely puts a big burden on the rehearsal process.

That would be grat ! I hate when there is a dance moment in a video clip, or in a movie, and they only film the head of the main dancer. It's like on some offical videos of ballets, they film the face of the dancers, or only the feet, when dance is actually about the whole body. At least here there is someone who undertands what dance is about !

To me it will have all the material for a great movie :)
