  1. I'm excited about this new project. And with "The Drummer" scheduled for filming in the fall, Rupert will be busy and we might get two movie with him onscreen in 2013.

The interview from the red carpet at the opening of Leavesden Studios was cute. Hilarious he took the #4 from Privet Drive and they even have a sign at Leavesden that it's not the real one because Rupert took it. LOL "I didn't know they werer gonna do this!" Ha, ha.

  2. Well, they haven't won yet, joanne. And competition is hard. I haven't seen any of the other kisses, but I figure Bella/Edward might be a veeerrry hard one to beat. Well, we all know the Twihards. OTOH, the general fans might have gotten a bit weary of Bella/Edward. With Ron/Hermione it's different. We've seen it coming for years. We've waited for it for years. We've eagerly antipicated it for year and then .... FINALLY .... :ohyeah:

  3. Thanks, Katherine. Yes I'm okay, Just a bit ... idk. It's always good to be here.

Joannedern, you're fanart is fantatic as always. *applause*

Is anyone of you buying this new super HP movie edition box? I read about it on Leaky. I have all the Ultimate Editions except the ones for DH1 and DH2. Therefore I have no intention on spending even more money. I love HP (and R/Hr ;) ) but there has to be a limit to everything. At one point it's only money making on my expense and I can't afford that. And I don't want to.

  4. Thanks, Jon. It's nice to see you here as well. And Katherine, weren't you on the Leaky forums too, back in the old days so to speak?

Yes, Alex and Vida need to come back too.

And don't worry about my proof-reading "skills". I do that in my mother tounge German. And I'm far from perfect too. Spelling and punctuation can be mind-boggling complicated in German. LOL Only good I have books and internet to look things up.

  5. I'm fine, thanks. :D I have just been busy with my side job. I'm proof-reading books for a publishing company. Well, I have only proof-read one so far, I just started with the job. But it's exhausting. I work my regular job until 3:30 p.m (I cut back on hours, otherwise I wouldn't be able to do the side job), then I go home and work on the book for a couple of hours. When I'm done, my comfy sofa is calling. LOL But now I sent back the corrected manuscript and it will be a while until I get a new one, so I will have a bit more time at my disposal.

Unfortunately, I won't be so lucky to proof-read JKR's new book. Although, I could try and convince the publisher to buy the German rights for the book, then I maybe could translate it???? ;) Ha, ha.

Anyways, Soulsister, a brilliant idea for what the book could be about. One can dream, can't we? :ohyeah:

  6. Luciana, thanks for sharing that info about Ron/Hermione making #8. Of course, for me, they are #1 :D

I was watching Deathly Hallows, both parts, tonight and I saw a little Ron, Hermione moment after the kiss that really made me smile.

Ron and Hermione are still in their "post kiss daze" and they are looking at the Marauder's Map, Ron mentions how Harry must be in the room of requirement, because he can't see him on the map and he also mentions how Hermione had said that last year. Hermione seems to be in shock that Ron recalls a conversation that they had over a year ago. The fact that he REALLY does listen to what she says is like that added proof to her that he really does care for her. Her response is "Brilliant" but not in Hermione's sometimes sarcastic manner, instead she says this in a a genuine and sincere sense. It was really a wonderful little Ron Hermione moment that I was glad was put in the film.

I think this moment was a substitute for Ron caring for the House-elves. In the book, that was the moment when Hermione realized not only that Ron was completely selfless, caring about the House Elves, but that he indeed does listen to her. Since they cut S.P.E.W out of the movies, they created this moment. And I think it wasn't the only one in which Ron proves that he listens to Hermione AND remembers what she says long after. :D
  7. I found this amazing gif!!!!! :ohyeah: :ohyeah: :ohyeah:

Oh man, this is fantastic. I wish they could've done it that way in the movie. THE KISS went by so fast, it was almost a blink and you miss it moment. Honestly, hadn't I known when it was coming, I would have missed it while watching.

On the other hand, it kind of was that way in the book for me too. 500 pages I had waited and waited and expected them to kiss almost every page I turned (i.e. when Ron came back). At this moment during the battle though, I wasn't thinking about anymore. Not at all. There was so much else going on and then all of a sudden .... BAMM. I read it and was like "wait a minute. What was that? That was the kiss, right? Read again!" LOL Then my face broke into the biggest smile I think I ever had. At least while reading. ;)

Joanne, I love love love love that Ronald Bilius Weasley wallpaper. :king:

  8. Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas, my dear R/Hr friends. My Christmas was great (too much to eat though. LOL. Diet is the word for the new year). My computer was at the repair shop but now I have it back and can reconnect with the rest of the world.

I have the week off and am enjoying a kind of HP marathon. Well, not really marathon since I watch one film per day. Tonight it's time for GoF. Hope you all have a great time too. :D

  9. Hahaha another brilliant analysis of The Kiss!! :D

That's cute. I can't wait for the weekend, because maybe then I'll have the time to watch the movie again and to finally watch the extras DVD. Yes, I know, embarrassing I haven't watched it yet, but I'm so exhausted from work at the moment, I happen to fall asleep on the sofa regularly. Regardless of what's on tv. Hey, I'm old after all. LOL

I have a few days off between Christmas and New Year (or rather January 2nd). I plan on watching all 8 HP movies during that time. :)

  10. He, Jon!! You all could always come over for a HP party. But this first time, I just had to watch it alone. You know.... bawling into my handkerchief. Playing R/Hr kiss over and over.

I loved it. The transition between the two movies is really done very well. There is an apparent difference in style and tone, so it doesn't feel like one movie, which they aren't anyway of course. I could get into the emotion of certain scenes. Which I couldn't really in the theater. Some things just work better for me when I watch them alone. ;) Anyway, the final scene with the trio on the bridge and the very last shot with the Hogwarts Express leaving Platform 9 3/4 really brings tears to my eyes. Yes, I am sentimental.

Speaking of Sentimentality. Has this vid already been posted? It's pure genius. It's fan tribute to HP and the best one I've ever seen. It really captures the 8 movies in a nutshell. And it's a great tribute to our trio as well.

  11. I'll get my DVD tomorrow (if the mail is fast) or Saturday. Amazon has just notified me that my DVD has been shipped today. :ohyeah:

I couldn't possibly wait until Christmas, that's still over a months after all. And my birthday is in May, so that's no option either. So I just spoil myself by spending my hard - earned money on it.

I'll see if the Dan/JKR interview is on it, but I'm pretty sure I heard it's on the Blue-ray only. *sigh* Anyway, I'm planning on making a Deathly Hallows night. Watching DH1 + DH2 back to back. :ohyeah:

  12. Oh, Stan's Mommy, I know how it feels to be out of the loop regarding HP and RHR. I am too lately, due to my Criminal Minds obesession and limited time. Ahh, RL can be a hindrance, can't it?

Anyway, I don't know if we'll have RHR extras on the DVD. I know the interview JKR gave Dan will be on the Blue-ray only and that's annoying. I don't get why they deprive us "old-schoolers" from the good stuff all the time. Thing is, Blue-ray discs aren't more expensive than DVDs. I think they just want to make us buy Blue-ray-players which are still more expensive than DVD - players or even DVD-recorders. But technology evolves so fast, I think as long as my DVD-recorder works, I'll wait and then buy the latest technology which will be newer than Blue-ray, I guess. :D

  13. Not to mention how good they look together, Luciana. Kristen, no problem for beating me to it. :D The awesomeness that it Ron/Hermione can't be posted too soon.

I hardly can bear the thought that Ron might have died. Can you imagine no happy-end for Ron and Hermione? Can you imagine Hermione and Harry losing their best friend? Can you imagine the golden trio to be... well, not a trio anymore? Can you imagine Hugo and Rosie would've never happened? Can you imagine Ronald Bilius Weasley, wonderful friend, husband, father, brother, son, uncle, auror, not to exist anymore. Can you imagine Hermione wearing another last name than Weasley? UNIMAGINABLE. Good JKR came back from her unhappy place and decided to have the trio live. *phew* OBHWF RULES.

  14. :ohyeah::ohyeah::ohyeah::ohyeah::ohyeah:

Ha, ha. You beat me to it Kristen. I just wanted to post that pic. Awwww, just seeing how they look at each other. It's a bit like Rosie and Hugo look away embarrassed because Mom and Dad are flirting with each other again. LOL Do you guys really think its bts of Emma and Rupert rather than a cut scene with Ron and Hermione?
  15. Yeah, I just watched that clip of JKR confessing the unspeakable. The unthinkable. I understand that she feels it a relief to talk about it now, but still I wish she wouldn't have. Talked about it, I mean. How could she even consider to kill one of them off? Even if she was in an unhappy place at that moment. Come on, JKR. Or if she had to confess that she considered killing one of them off, maybe she should have just kept quiet about which one it is. :(

It would have ruined everything for me. I love the books. I love all the trio to pieces, but it's just a fact I can't deny that Ron is my favorite. Not just for HP, but likely my favorite fictional character overall. I wouldn't have been able to ever read or watch HP again. Ever.

  16. OH MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :lostit:

That Kiss is super HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't resist it... I'm dead.

    :lostit::lostit::excited::excited::whaa::whaa: THUD

OMG, I always was happy with how the kiss was in the movie. It wasn't how I had imagined, but it was sincere, true and deeply felt. It was a great kiss, IMO. But now, having seen this shot, I wish they would have taken this instead of the other one. I still don't know why they toned down the kiss for the final cut since there obviously was juicier stuff. I mean, have you seen Rupert's lip movements? There was definitely tounge involved. *sigh*

Luciana, I can't see the pics you posted in your previous post.
