I’m really excited to make something else.Movies.com: Have you already started trying to figure out how to choreograph everything?Chazelle: We've been sort of choreographing for the past few months, and then tentative rehearsals will start up in the summer as we get closer to shooting in the fall. It's a very dance heavy movie, and I want to shoot the dance in long takes and wide so you can really see the dancers, and that definitely puts a big burden on the rehearsal process.

Production on Beauty is supposed to start in May.
If they stay on that schedule, I think she would have enough time to begin prep/rehearsals by Aug/Sep. (if you ignore Regression commitments)
I do like that he used the word "finalizing", though. Makes it sound like he might be expecting it to work out, as opposed to starting over fresh with different casting.

Nothing is set in stone besides Miles. We’re still finalizing the female lead. -
Just confirming that she's currently in lessons.
The other one confirms that production will begin in May in the U.K.
My guess would be at Pinewood.

So they pushed to fall, which could mean they are trying to accommodate her schedule, or are buying time to find a replacement.
It's still possible, but with both Regression and Colonia coming out in the fall, I just don't see her being able to do the press tours alongside this type of production.
