  1. Photo shoots are usually done a few months before the release of the magazine, e.g. Angelina Jolie shot with Mario Testino at the beginning of July and the cover was released just yesterday. Tbh, I saw an article about those shirts only a few days ago. Was the information really published weeks ago? I’m not trying to justify why she wore the blouse, but she may have just taken it for granted they were produced to “ethical standardsâ€. ‘Cause Elle is a rather serious magazine (serious when it comes to fashion magazines) and they should have taken care of it themselves. For me, it would
  2. It was such a hilarious speech. I really liked it. And I see nothing wrong with her mentioning Harry Potter. It is a huge part of her life. She'd spent so much time on the HP set, she'd made friends there, she'd met so many talented actors and actresses there and, well, it'd completely changed her whole life. The fact that she doesn't want to be perceived as Hermione, that she doesn't want people to think she's Hermione doesn't mean she should never speak about HP again because... why shouldn't she? It's the biggest film series in history and without it she wouldn't be where she's today. In ad
  3. I heard Sandra speak German and I was surprised by her skills! It's not like she learns a few words by heart and then recites them. She really can speak German. (At least a bit.) Tbh, I prefer subtitles to the dubbing which, personally, I find very annoying. Maybe it's due to the fact that the dubbing is rather unpopular in Poland. Only kids and family films are dubbed here. When I watch German TV, it always amazes (and somehow bothers) me how everything - all the films and series are dubbed there.
  4. Elena, you'll probably find me snippy, but I don't like it when someone corrects, and I'm the one who's right. It was a jumpsuit as you can see here - http://www.jmendel.com/ready-to-wear/fall-2014-collection/silk-plunge-front-jumpsuit.html And it wasn't couture since J. Mendel has only a ready-to-wear (pret-a-porter) line.
  5. Sorry, I couldn't decide which one should be my picture of the day.
  6. Something is off and she looks a bit unnatural - that was my first thought when I saw the cover. And I didn't get the same vibe from the other pictures from this shoot. I guess only retouching can be blamed for it. Or maybe it's just me. I like this cover anyhow. I just find the other photos much more appealing. This minimalist styling suits her. Better quality (if I'm not wrong)
  7. Oh, the hair and make-up are so similar to the styling from the 'Gravity' premiere. And the outfit reminds me of the jumpsuit she wore to the Madrid premiere of 'Noah', I'm a bit disappointed. I wish she had worn something completely fresh and new, something that we haven't seen from her yet. Nonetheless, she looked fabulous so I won't complain. Btw, the outfit is by Balenciaga. With Judi Dench: Such an honour!
  8. I've been thinking about that whole accent thing and I'm not sure anymore whether it makes sense if she speaks with German accent. If they wanted to make it more authentic, she would speak German. (Which, obviously, she can't do.) So maybe they all will just speak English as if it was German. (Oh, does it make sense?) Anyway, I hope it won't turn out to be such a language mess as "Schindler's list" in which some Germans spoke German while the others spoke English and Polish people spoke English, German and Polish. The same goes for "The Pianist".
  9. Wow, Roberto, you're awesome! Thanks for all the pictures and the article. ^This outfit is just… terrible. Boyfriend jeans and a sort of baggy (maybe it's not baggy, but it's not close-fitting either) jacket? No, no, no. It’s wrong. It does nothing for her figure. But other than that, the styling is OK. At least, better than the styling from Elle UK November 2011. I like the dress with yellow elements most. When it comes to the cover, well, the layout isn’t impressive. There is too much text. And retouching which she definitely doesn’t need at all. I wish they had used the picture w
  10. http://www.elleuk.com/fashion/celebrity-style/emma-watson-elle-cover-shoot-behind-the-scenes - behind the scenes photos I can't wait to see the whole photo shoot.

    Smoking

I tried my first cigarette four years ago when I was 16. (I remember that my younger self had always said she would never ever try smoking. She'd had no idea how wrong she'd been then.) And, well, it was love at first sight. Even that first cigarette didn't taste bad. I'm not addicted. I don't smoke every day, but I have to admit that I love smoking, I really, like really, enjoy doing it. The only thing that keeps me from smoking on a daily basis is my health. What's more, I don't like the whole idea of being addicted. For me, it's a sign of weakness and uhh, I hate feeling weak. So I try to s
  12. Polish: I love you. - Kocham ciÄ™. I like you. - LubiÄ™ ciÄ™. Nothing - Nic I'm sorry. - Przepraszam. (You can hear it in "Sorry" by Madonna. XD)
  13. I hope so too! It would make sense as English isn't Daniel's native language. And as they both are to play a German couple.
  14. This new picture is great. I can definitely feel the tension between the characters and it's only a photo. That's a good start. I hope the whole film will meet my expectations. (Uhh, I'm looking forward to seeing it!) A bit off-topic, but... If Emma wants to nail the accent, she should pay attention to Jessica Lange's German accent in the latest season of American Horror Story. She's just the epitome of awsomeness.
  15. Notting Hill. After so many years it still makes me laugh.
