I agree with Jon(can I call u that?), I love their friendship. They have shared their childhood together, they know each other better than most of everybody else(except the fellow Harry Potter cast members, obviously), they have shared such a vital part of their lives together, and have formed such a strong bond. It seems to us, that it would be great for them to have a romantic relationship.
Any decision or choice lies in their hands, and we can only go so far.
But, I think we will cherish their relationship, whatever the nature of it may be, forever!
I'd like to know if any of you have ever read 'Love, Rosie' (US), or 'Where Rainbows End' (UK)? If you haven't, I suggest you do. It's beautiful.
The two main protagonists (Rosie and Alex) remind me of Rupert and Emma. Rupert and Emma seem to have other close friends apart from themselves, unlike Rosie and Alex, but Rupert, Emma and Dan share a bond, that cannot be shared with anyone else. They solely have had the experience of growing up in front of the world with each other, with the weight of a multi-billion dollar series on their heads.
It is so nice to read all of your posts on how you have been in this forum for a very long time and made great friends! Some of you have been here for a decade!! This is something you will never forget your whole life! It is so amazing to think of how long you have loved and supported two incredible people(we do not truly know them, but they have inspired us), and made friends in the process. Friends you will never forget. Friends you have never met. (Or have you met?)

What you said is absolutely true! It's very admirable how they've managed to stay so grounded after all that success!!
I'm not sure if I'm right but I was going through previous posts the other day and somebody quoted Jessie Cave saying, " Emma loves spending time with Rupert. She's always in his trailer." Something like that. I'm not sure whether I saw it here or somewhere else.

Rupert and Emma remind me of the main protagonists of the book- Rosie and Alex. Only that Rosie and Alex are each others only best friends, but Rupert and Emma seem to have good friends other than each other as well.
I think Rupert and Emma are quite special for each other though. Dan, Rupert and Emma have known each other for more than a decade. They must know other people whom they have known for more than a decade as well, but they have seen each other every single day during their important transition from childhood to adults; adolescence.
Emma even said in one interview that there was no judgement between the three of them, they understand each other perfectly, and that they were the only two people in the world with whom she wouldn't have to explain the experience of having the weight of a multi-billion dollar franchise on her head.
Rupert and Emma seem to have similiar family backgrounds. They had never acted professionally before Harry Potter, unlike Dan. From a lot of quotes from Rupert, Emma and other cast and crew members, it seems that Rupert and Emma are quite close.
