  1. They are so beautiful :) If I had money laying around I'd probably get one myself... But I'd be freaked to have people buy them if I were Emma ^_^ Since she's not just a model, they are portraits of her specifically, must be weird to think people have your portrait hanging over their mantelpieces or whatever haha...

I think it's less freaky than people having posters of her all over their bedrooms...

  2. Finale of the season this monday! I absolutely love this show! .. Can't believe taylor momsen and Jessica Szohr arent coming back for the fifth season :(

If I can be honest, with respect to Taylor Momsen, good riddance... I despise this girl.

  3. Atonement by Ian McEwan is great. And Kafka on the shore by Takashi Murakami.

Atonement blew me away, I'd highly recommend it too.

I recently read "Norwegian Wood" by Murakami, a friend had given it to me, and I was surprised how much I liked it. It made me laugh out loud several times.

I'd recommend anything by Kazuo Ishiguro: "The Remains of the Day", "Never Let Me Go", "When We Were Orphans".

  4. Rubbish. Emma herself mentioned this as a joke during an interview with Marie-Claire or Vogue (can't remember which). She's said herself that she loves being at Brown pretty much more than anything else. The tabloids are just trying to find dirt, as usual. I guess the truth doesn't sell, whereas the idea of a taunted celeb does...

  5. Happy bday Emma:)...

Guys make sure to check the tribute video on the main site:)

Did you like it? :) I love it, the song is stuck in my head and I think the clips really captured what is so lovable and endearing about Emma.

NobleManiac, I'll watch yours as soon as possible and send you comments - anybody making music videos deserves feedback!!!

  6. In my case it worked :yesyes:. In all honesty Emma being the brand ambassador definitely got me into the brand, after that through I've just fallen in love with Burberry itself.

Same here. I'm now really into the Burberry check, and my perception of the brand has definitely changed, to the point where I really want to buy something by them one day.

I do like his answer to all the name-brand counterfeiters; it not only undermines the brand but there's no telling where their supplies and production comes from. Also that quality is traded for price, and in the end the brand suffers even when the counterfeits are the ones that fall apart.

Amen to that. I remember reading an article about how counterfeiting is linked to such niceties as arm trade or child labour. Definitely puts you off.

  7. I think Julia Stiles did something similar when she was studying at Columbia. Lots of students seem to take a temporary leave from uni, for different reasons, of course. I'm just crossing my fingers that Emma will get to get the best of both worlds, like she's always seemed to want to, and that film-making and modelling won't take over her life as a History student.

  8. I'm the odd ball who is going to have to say that Ashley is my favorite. I'm happy that Mary-Kate is still acting, I read that Ashley has a social anxiety disorder or something like that so my guess is that she wont be doing too many projects without her sister.

I Didnt realize that Mary-Kate was in Beastly I was planning on watching it anyways but yay bonus.

You're not the odd ball, I'm totally with you on preferring Ashley! I've read similar things as well, I think she's rather happy to be working on her clothing lines and to be expressing her creativity far away from the public eye. Which is a shame really, since I'd love to see another movie of hers. But hey, she and her sister worked hard enough as kids and teenagers to be able to finally choose for themselves what type of career they want.
