  1. How long was your layover in Hong Kong? Other than San Fransisco, I think Hong Kong's airport is one of the best looking I've been in.

Just about 4 hours both times I was there. I agree with you though, the terminal I spent my time on was great. :) Really beautiful, also seeing Hong Kong when flying in was nice, very pretty place!

  2. Well I really dislike flying ^_^ Short distance of a couple of hours is alright I suppose but so not comfortable. And so noisy! :sweatdrop: Longest flight I've been on is when I went to New Zealand, 2,5 hours to London, 13 hours to Hong Kong and another 10 hours to Auckland. Then there was 45 min/1 hour to Wellington and 30 min to Nelson... guess if I was knackered after that :P Sleeping on long distance flights suck too, it's not proper sleep and you only get a few hours at a time.

On long distance flights I watch movies, short distance I just read and try to sleep/relax. I really prefer buses or trains where I can sit with my laptop throughout the journey and the noise isn't so bad. But of course any form of travelling that takes more than 3 hours is a pain.

  3. People keep telling me I need to watch this but none of them have the DVDs to loan me. I love Kristi Chenoweth. She's so cute.

Yeah you kinda need to  You can't rent it anywhere? Or get it *cough* elsewhere *cough* .... I'll buy the two seasons as soon as I have the money.

I only saw about half of the shows, or even less, but I very much enjoyed the concept and the way the show was written. I miss it and certainly would have continued to try and catch it were it not cancelled. :(

Why don't you go see all the episodes? They do wrap it up well enough at the end. :)

This fabulous little show is definitely one of the best productions ever! It sadly only ran for two seasons (because of stupid script writer strike) but the 22 episodes are pure genius. Anna Friel and Ned Pace has such fantastic chemistry too, they really made the show.

If you haven't seen it I suggest you go see it NOW!

    Any other fans? :)

  5. I LOVE this thread. Thankssss, BoMa. ;)

This was left over from what I made yesterday. I had the second portion for breakfast very early this morning:

Half an orange, and oatmeal with cinnamon, a packet of sweetener, dried cranberries, largely diced fuji apples, and sliced green grapes. Perfect breakfast for me. :yesyes:

    :D

The only thing I didn't like was that I had to make it with whole milk, as that's all there is here. I usually only drink and cook with skim milk, unless I specifically need whole milk.

    -shrug-

Yum! Love oatmeal :D Have it for breakfast most days too, with cinnamon, a banana and milk. There's nothing wrong with whole milk? It's great fats love ;) Extremely nutritious too

  6. It's so interesting that y'all have such different opinions on this.

I feel odd saying I enjoy being drunk once (tops twice) a month and just completely letting loose. I can (for unknown reasons) handle a lot of liquour and tend to drink a lot but I've never became a pain to anyone, been sick or done anything stupid. I just get become very happy and by the end of the night I pass out. Few hours later I wake up, drink lots of water, take a painkiller and have a pizza for breakfast/lunch. :) It's a nice and different way to hang out with your friends!

I've seen so many people who have taken it waaay too far and I really don't see the point of that. But also I know we all have our reasons so I don't judge anyone for their behavior around alcohol.

  7. I don't really live in a city. I live on a island called Orust on the west coast of Sweden, some miles from Gothenburg.

But this is where I grew up, on a smaller island called Käringön.

:o I didn't know you lived on Orust! That's kind of different, never met anyone who lived there. :) It looks really beautiful (also from what I've heard, never visited it myself but I frequently visited Vrångö when I was little, it's in the area ;)), especially in the summer.
